The light and airy downstairs consists of a spacious, well-appointed eat in kitchen with granite work tops and seating for 6; a stylish bathroom (including jacuzzi bath, LED lighting, under floor heating and TV) and relaxing sitting room with leather sofas and a small desk.
Upstairs, both bedrooms offer either king size or twin beds, crisp linens and plenty of storage. Fluffy towels and a hairdryer are provided and toiletries are complimentary. The main bedroom has triple aspect windows and an en-suite wet room.
With advance notice, 2 further guests can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the lounge and we welcome well behaved pets (supplements may apply).
Accessed via french doors from the sitting room, the surrounding garden and terrace include seating and barbeque area; allowing year round enjoyment of this exceptional property.
Queen Anne's Stable has a private garden - accessed via french doors from both the kitchen and living room. There is a private lawn, patio and bbq area.
The property has a key box with access code so you can check yourself in and out if you choose.
Interaction with guests
Although the owner lives on site - we can be around as little or a much as you choose. Once we have received your booking, we will email you information and directions. On your arrival day, if we cannot be around to greet you, we will provide you with a code for the key box at the property.
On the original main route from London to Bath, Crossroads Farm is steeped in history. It is alleged that when Queen Anne visited the city of Bath to try the waters, she stabled her coach horses here. The World Heritage City of Bath is only 8 miles away.
Crossroads Farm boasts far reaching views across the open countryside of Wiltshire, including Westbury White Horse. The area has a plethora of local gems to explore; from the award winning Neston Park Farm Shop, to Corsham Court, set in grounds created by Capability Brown.
A stone's throw from the market town of Bradford on Avon and the village of Box, home to the famous Box Tunnel designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Crossroads Farm offers a convenient and versatile base. The village of Box offers all necessary amenities; a small Co-op, eclectic café, butchers, post office, several pubs and even a wonderful Indian restaurant. Major supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away.
There is on-site free parking for multiple vehicles and a bus stop outside, serving all local routes. The nearest train stations can be found at Bradford on Avon, Bath or Chippenham – each within 8 miles.

There is no smoking at the property. Well behaved dogs will be considered (supplement may apply). Please note, we have a two night minimum stay during peak seasons.
