We have decided to open our old family's house and welcome our guests for the first time this summer. It is not just another place for a short visit of Dubrovnik, it is a place full of memories, old life style and tradition.

The space

Located just above the city walls of Dubrovnik ( WALKING DISTANCE TO THE OLD CITY, IT TAKES 2 MINUTES TO WALK FROM THE HOUSE INTO THE OLD CITY WHERE ALL ATTRACTIONS ARE LOCATED!!!), house offers a magnificent view of the Old City and Lokrum island. Historical attractions, as well as bars and restaurants are all within walking distance.
We also provide airport transfers and great tours in the whole area.

Really lovely spacious accommodation with real character. Gloria was a lovely host and brought us juice/water and fresh grapes from her garden. It's very close to old town with a short walk across the road. Very good location. The only issue we had was parking a hire car. Parking is very limited and expensive so this is something to think about when visiting. However, I would completely recommend this place. Really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

Grandfather's apartment was much more spacious than we expected and the location could not be better for the views as well as exploring the old city. We absolutely loved sitting on the balcony and soaking the views of the city. Gloria was most helpful, friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed making friends with Kiko, her four legged friend. We had a wonderful stay in the apartment and would definitely go back.

Great apartment just outside of the city walls. Breathtaking views of the old town and sea. Both Tanja & Gloria were very helpful organising transfers from the airport & to the catamaran port. We enjoyed the company of Kiko, Gloria's dog.

In easy reach of most attractions in Dubrovnik. Good size apartment. Unfortunately during our stay we had our holiday money and items of clothing stolen from the apartment of which we had both keys and windows locked at all times. None of the stolen items were on display so be very careful!!

Response from Tanja:
Dear Claire, We have had so many guests in our house over the last three years and noone has ever experienced anything like this. You only realized that the things were stolen after you reached your second destination, so I dont think you can be sure where, when and if it is was really stolen. Besides, there are so many valuable things in our apartment which are there, on dispaly all the time, and noone has ever stolen anything, so It is really not fair to make this kind of statements unless you are sure what happened. Thanks, Tanja

We were met by Gloria, who made us very welcome. A bottle of wine and some home-made baking she had provided to make us feel at home. And we did feel at home. The apartment was very clean, tidy and well organised. We were impressed with the photographs on the site when we chose the apartment and we were not disappointed when we arrived. Very spacious for the two of us it could comfortably accommodate four people. The apartment is very close to and overlooks the old walled town, (a few minutes walk away). The balcony has a great view of the town, the nearby island of Lokrum and the Adriatic coast to the South. Dubrovnik is great for a few days. We stayed for a week and had time to travel more widely. Lokrum was great and Cavtat well worth a visit.
