Interaction with guests

For the most part, you probably won't see us. But if you need us for anything, we are available via phone or email.

The neighbourhood

What isn't there to LOVE about Mt. Lemmon?
We are surrounded by nature.
This is the perfect 'beat the heat' destination if you're fleeing the hot desert in the Summer.
This is also the perfect 'do you wanna build a snowman' destination in the Winter.
This is also the perfect destination for avid cyclists wanting to train year round in mountain air.
If you step out of the house in any direction, you have Cookie Cabin and The Living Rainbow store to one side, and the General Store and Sawmill Run restaurant on the other side across the street.
There are few places on Mt. Lemmon that can tout, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...like this one.

Getting around

Please be sure to have enough gas in your car to get up and down the mountain. There aren't any gas stations on Mt Lemmon. (Last place for fuel, groceries, and pharmacies, is on Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway).

There is a General Store on the mountain, but your best bet is to bring your own groceries. Restaurants and stores have limited hours.

It's best to either print out or take a screen shot of the important details for your trip. Cell service is spotty. You don't want to get up there and not have the key code to get into the house! Once you're in the house, you'll be able to connect to wifi.
If you're in a jam, you can go to the Community Center and use their internet.

Just another reminder that there are stairs to enter the house from the outside. There are also stairs inside the house. There are 3 levels in the house.

The house was built after the fire on Mt. Lemmon. That's why it looks a bit different from the others. (And our place is waaaay more spacious than the older built cabins.) We have little trees (grow little trees, grow!) growing near us...and we have views of large beautiful trees across the way from our balcony. Just a 2 minute walk is all it takes to immerse yourself in natural beauty and healthy tall trees of Mt. Lemmon.

Traveling from one place to the next...who thought it could be so fun?!?
We are so excited to be part of that loop on the hosting end.
I've car camped, beach towel camped, tent camped, couch surfed (unofficially), boat lived, hostel lived, garage lived, and have loved it all.
