The space

Family cottage on the Northumberland Strait in Amherst Shore, Nova Scotia.

Open concept living and kitchen area with plenty of seating and a fully stocked kitchen.

Two brand new decks to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a nice glass of wine in the evening.
Three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin bunk beds and the third with a double on bottom and twin on top bunk bed. There are 5 beds...not 16 in spite of what the summary says....I can't get it to change!

Warmest waters north of North Carolina! Stay here for a day or a week and enjoy the beach and all that comes with it... swimming, walking on the sandbars or canoeing. Enjoy the outdoor shower after a day on the beach. Golf in Amherst or Pugwash is 30 minutes away. Beautiful Prince Edward Island is a one hour drive.

We had such a great time at this cottage! Lisa was there to greet us almost immediately. The whole area is filled with adorable cottages and everyone was super friendly. The beach was just down the steps and the kids loved playing in it every day.

Quaint cottage close to the beach. Enjoyed our stay. Mostly used as a central place to a lot of wonderful places close by. Great place to crash at the end if a long day.

This was my first time experience with Airbnb and our first time in Nova Scotia. Lisa was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for the surrounding area. Our accommodations were clean, and comfortable and close to the ocean. Great sunrise! Thanks again.
