Stay in a cozy cabin within a family vineyard, perfect for those seeking wine tourism, nature, and rural life. Experience the genuine hospitality of Viña El Poeta with its unique wines and pure honey.

Walk through the vines, swim in the river, gaze at the stars, and feel the peace of Chilean countryside heritage.

The space
Located in the heritage village of González Bastías, between Talca and Constitución, Viña El Poeta Cabins invite you to experience authentic wine tourism and rural life in the heart of Chile’s Maule Valley, next to the historic Talca–Constitución heritage train — the last operating narrow-gauge railway in the country.

Surrounded by vineyards, fruit trees, and the Maule River, our property offers an unforgettable combination of nature, tranquility, and countryside charm. The four cabins are set apart from each other among the vines, ensuring privacy, peace, and stunning views.

Each cabin was built with local materials and designed to blend harmoniously with the landscape. They feature a fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, and a terrace with a charcoal grill. We provide bed linens, towels, soap, and shampoo. Guests are welcomed with a seasonal basket of local treats, often including wine, honey, or fruit from our farm.

Cabin El Poeta 3 is designed for two people and features a king-size bed. The main bedroom offers a stunning view of the river and includes a TV. The living room also overlooks the river and has a cozy wood-burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, gas stove, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils.

All cabins use natural groundwater from deep well, have firewood heating, and reflect the warmth and simplicity of Chilean country homes.

During your stay, you can:
- Walk through our family vineyard and learn about our handcrafted wine and pure honey.
- Visit González Bastías Station and ride the Talca–Constitución heritage train, a living piece of Chilean history.
- Swim or fish in the Maule River
- Explore nearby trails along the river and through the hills
- Enjoy stargazing under the clear rural sky, free from light pollution.

You can reach the property by car, train from Talca, by small plane, helicopter or — for the adventurous — even by kayak along the Maule River.

Come and experience the authentic hospitality of Viña El Poeta, where wine, nature, and history come together to create a truly memorable stay.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin.

Other things to note
The cabin has a TV in the main bedroom and the option to activate prepaid DirectTV service. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send instructions so you can easily activate the service yourself if desired.

The water comes from a private well located on the property and has been tested and certified as potable and safe for human consumption. However, guests may boil it or bring bottled water if they prefer.

Access is via a mostly paved rural road, with only 3 km of gravel, which is in good condition year-round and suitable for all types of vehicles. We recommend arriving with enough food and fuel, as the nearest supermarkets and gas stations are in Pencahue, about a 45-minute drive away.

We want your stay to be comfortable, peaceful, and connected to the authentic countryside life and spirit of the Maule Valley. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
