This place was wayyyy better than camping without all the work. We only brought ourselves, our dog, some clothes and food and enjoyed our relaxing stay. Our hosts were easily accessible but gave us lots of privacy. The property was lovely with the sounds of the pond, the chicken, the horses and the birds.

Great little spot! Way more beautiful than the photos seem and there's a friendly little cat that roams the property named Bandit who loves pets if you're inclined. Hosts were great and allowed a late check in.

Carol's "hut" is a comfy, cozy island of tranquility overlooking perfectly manicured rolling landscape complete with chickens, horses and one lonely bullfrog who inhabits one of two ponds. Outdoor "facilities" are completely private, convenient and fun. Carol is caring, and with her husband has created an AirBnB experience you don't want to pass by if you are in this incredibly beautiful area of B.C.

The views from this property are spectacular. The cabin was just as described. The right amount of rustic "one with nature" mixed with the comforts home. I want one!

We had a fantastic stay at Carol's place for our first anniversary. 10 minutes to all the great spots and such a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. Amazing scenery and the hut was clean and comfy. Great value. We will definitely be back!

Marv and I have lived on Vancouver Island for 14 years. We still feel like we're on vacation. Both of us are self employed landscapers that live on a 20 acre hobby farm in Errington, just 5 min. from Parksville, along with horses and hens. Love the outdoors with a "Live like you were dying" attitude.
