A comfortable, cozy, private and secluded cabin for up to two guests. Our cabin is overlooking the Knik River Valley and Knik Glacier and offers spectacular views. The cabin is located a short but moderate hike from our parking area.
Our cabin is one room with a covered deck, nearby outhouse and a sun deck. It is furnished with a queen size bed, mini-fridge, and single burner induction cooktop. Equipped with a tank of potable water for drinking and cooking. Traditional breakfast items are included with each reservation to prepare at your leisure. We have outdoor sun showers on request. ( towels and robes are available) There is also a side deck with a propane barbecue. The windows are outfitted with blackout blinds.
Guests will have use of the cabin, our yard, outhouse and private parking pad. Check in is 4-9:00 PM. Check out is at 11:00 AM
Interaction with guests
This is a single, private cabin and your privacy will be respected. You will be greeted at check in and escorted to the cabin. If further assistance is needed the hosts are available in the nearby private home.
The hosts can advise you in planning daily excursions around Southcentral Alaska.
Other things to note
The cabin is equipped with electricity and a heated outdoor outhouse is conveniently located just a few steps away. WiFi, Internet, TV, phone are not available. Public showers and laundry are located 9 miles away.
No guest under 21, please. We respect our neighbors and their privacy. We do not permit loud music or noise. Absolutely no smoking indoors. Smoking is allowed on the deck as long as butts are placed in the provided can. Due to potential wild land fire danger cigarettes can not be deposited on the ground. No pets allowed.
