The space

A spacious townhouse with three bedrooms, lounge, dining, two bathrooms and 350 sq foot garden. The house is finished in the natural stone giving the lovely warm glow, it's naturally cool in summer, great to chill out and read a book.

Guest access

The village of Marsascala offers and exceptional array of restaurants. swimming is available at the local St Thomas bay, access to any of islands beaches and coves is easy by car. Hire locally at the bottom of the road from Joe's garage

Interaction with guests

We aim to leave you alone to enjoy your stay. We live in England but if you need anything we have some close friends that will look after your needs.

There is parking on the front but only for a very small car. There is plenty of space on the street in front of the house

Mark's house is really confortable and so beautiful. We enjoyed the 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom. Everything was perfect and we appreciated the little details like the milk, the butter and the bread already there as we arrived late in the evening. There are restaurants and bars everywhere and it's easy to get the bus or visit the city by foot. That was lovely !

It's actually a nice town house with it's charming little garden and it could be a really nice place where to have a stay BUT unfortunately it's not well-kept. The kitchen cupboards, the wardrobes, the doors and the windows are dirty (we had to wash the dishes when we arrived). The carpet in the "living room" is not cleaned. The plates are plastic ones. There is only one electric adapter for all the house (the second one is out of order). The washing machine is out of order. The rate is overcharged in relation with the provided services and the equipment. La maison est assez jolie avec ses murs en pierre et sa petite cour agrémentée d'un citronnier et cela pourrait être vraiment agréable d'y séjourner MAIS la propreté et le niveau d'équipement laissent vraiment à désirer : intérieur des placards sales, portes des pièces et des placards sales, rideaux idem, équipement de cuisine pauvre (pas de cafetière, pas de grille-pain, assiettes en plastique...), un seul et unique adaptateur électrique pour toute la maison (les prise murales sont aux normes anglaises), machine à laver rouillée et en panne... Et tout cela pour un prix qui est loin d'être donné au vu des prestations.

Hi Sophie, If you had contacted my local manager or myself we could have attempted to resolve any issues you had. Firstly, we apologise if the place seemed unclean but there was a sandstorm the day you arrived and this can spread fine dust all over the house and make the windows looked dirty this can happen a lot in Malta. The electrical sockets in Malta are all to the UK standard, so you will need to bring European adaptors, the one you wrote of must have been left by a guest. we will try and ensure that future guests know this. The washing machine bearings broke just before you arrived and have ordered a new Samsung 9KG. The plates were clean, they are plastic and are scratched, so we have decided to replace them with ceramic. The kitchen was cleaned but the melamine is yellowing so looks off-colour we have decided to renew these doors. We have removed the rug, it was there for our winter guests. Thanks for your feedback I wish you would have contacted me directly over any concerns you had.

Finding and entering Mark's place was very easy. We liked that it was located close to our favourite spots. The house still needs a bit of work but since we were spending most of our time outdoors, it didn't matter so much. The only thing that troubled us was the internet which didn't work. That was a bit inconvenient as we were relying on it to plan our next moves. Apart from that, a decent stay for the price.

We spent 9 lovely nights at Mark's house. This charming little house was spotless and really well equipped. The bus stop is less than a 2 minute walk from the house which made getting around very easy. The imediate area is quiet and relaxed. At the time we stayed, there seemed to be only locals around and it had a very authentic Maltese feel about it. I would have no problem recommending this house to anyone. Thank you Mark for all.

Io e un gruppo di 7 ragazzi abbiamo soggiornato dieci giorni da Mark! Eccellenti sulla comunicazione e la disponibilità che ci hanno fornito. Posizione ottima per la vicinanza autobus e per la tranquillità del posto. Sono molto disponibili per qualunque tipo di problema ! La casa è ben attrezzata e appena rimodernizzata.
