Calm and convenient location

Salty Vibes is located at Milepost 8, between the bypass and beach road in heart of Kill Devil Hills, just a 3 minute walk to the beach access at the end of Pinehurst Avenue. Conveniently located near the Wright Brother’s Memorial National Park and fishing piers and fully equipped for the beach with beach chairs, beach cart and umbrella. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, enjoy the outdoor space with picnic tables and ample seating, or ride the supplied bikes to nearby restaurants and shops.

The space
With plenty of space to park up to 4 vehicles, up to 8 guests can spread out in the 3 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower (hot and cold water). Sleep in true comfort (no sofa beds or futons). Choose to stay in for dinner, cooking on the outdoor charcoal grill.

Salty Vibes has a dry entry, for those occasional rainy days.
The living room is designed with your comfort in mind. For indoor entertainment, we have a 65” TV with a YouTube TV subscription (you are also welcome to log into any of your own streaming services), several board games/decks of cards and a small assortment of books.

The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, and most small appliances, including a full size coffee pot and a Keurig with K-cups for those who enjoy their coffee at the push of a button.

Our dining table seats six comfortably alongside 4 stools along the kitchen peninsula. For outdoor dining options, enjoy the picnic table in the covered outside entertaining area. Both front decks are a great place to have morning coffee while enjoying views of the Wright Memorial and the ocean in the distance.

The main living floor bedroom has a king bed, plenty of closet space, bedside lamps with USB ports and a wall mounted TV.
The first bedroom upstairs is furnished with a king bed, bedside lamps with USB ports, a private work area with a small writing desk, seating, a dresser and a TV.

The second bedroom upstairs is furnished with a queen and 2 twin beds, bedside lamps, several USB ports and a centrally mounted TV.

The ground level provides several options for gaming, including a foosball table, ring toss, and a wall mounted Connect Four game. Additionally, this room contains the washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided).

For beach excursions, we provide a beach cart, 4 beach chairs, two beach umbrellas, and a cooler. We also provide 4 bicycles for rides to dinner and dessert at the numerous restaurants and breweries, many located within 2 miles of Salty Vibes.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire house excluding owner's closets on each level.

Entry code and other access information will be provided to guests when the cottage is ready for check-in.

Other things to note
The kitchen is set up for cooking at home on those nights you just want to relax at the cottage. It is equipped with pots and pans, a variety of cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, baking dishes, a toaster, a blender, and a Keurig coffee maker with k-cups, and a full size coffee maker with filters.
We provide linens including sheets, 1 beach towel , 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth per guest, 1 hand towel and 1 bath mat per bathroom, and 2 kitchen dish towels. There is a park style outdoor charcoal grill for when you just want to chill and grill at the house.

We also provide a starter pack with these basic supplies:
-toilet paper
-paper towels
-dishwasher tablets
-laundry pods
-trash bags
