In this cozy and quiet studio in a tiny and peaceful street, full of little art galleries, you'll be able to relax or work, between walks in le Marais, Musée Picasso or Place des Vosges.
Chill out and enjoy with your beloved one a glass of wine.

The space

After long hours in walking, you need to relax in quietness. But also to get back in your homy rental whenever you feel it, because vacations are made for doing what you want when you want. Because of its location, you can choose at the last minute, to change your mind, to do back and forth and not carrying shopping bags the whole day long. We can say you live the Parisian life.

Guest access

We provide a full studio, with one double bed and a sofa bed. You have a large shower, with toilets, a separated kitchen where you can prepare, without disturbing your partner, your breakfast.
We provide a french press, a kettle, all other amenities for eating at home, washer combined with a dryer, TV, phone, WiFi, the linen (sheets and towels), hair dryer.

Interaction with guests

Once you will have booked the place, we'll send you a document to make your way to the flat.
We will be there on your arrival and on your departure. In the meanwhile, we are reachable by phone and emails, will you have any questions or issues.

Other things to note

The rental agreed by payment of the booking deposit is for a one bedroom apartment 20 sq metres in size, located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris on the fourth floor and a building with no elevator.

Tariff includes welcoming by our concierge on arrival and check-out and cleaning on departure as well as cable TV, wi-fi internet.

Towels and bedlinen:

We supply high-quality, 100% cotton towels and bedlinen which are all professionally laundered after each stay. Towels for two people and bed-linen for one double-bed are included in every booking. If extra linen or towels are needed, or if you use extra bed linen during your stay there will be a one-off laundry fee of €50.


Additional concierge charges:

The concierge is available to help with any problems or questions regarding the function of any appliances or services in the apartment.
Assistance from the concierge for things that are your own responsibility such as being locked out of the apartment, will be charged at a rate of €96 per hour, to be paid directly to the concierge.

Telephone:

Land lines and cell phones calls are free on the countries we listed above.
If you make any calls to countries other than mentioned above, you will be charged and the amount will be deducted from your security deposit.

Check in/ check out:

Check-in is between 3pm and 7pm and check-out between 9am and 10am Monday to Saturday. This is to give us time to prepare the apartment in between customers. However, if there isn’t another booking immediately before or after yours, different times can be arranged with the concierge.

French employment law requires that workers are paid a premium for working outside of normal office hours. Therefore, for check-ins or check-outs before 9am, after 7pm or on Sundays or public holidays, there is and additional charge of €50 to be paid directly to the concierge.


Optional extras:

To make your holiday even more relaxing, we can arrange for the cleaner to come during your stay. Either for a simple daily maid service or a full weekly clean for longer stays. Please let us know at the time of your booking if you are interested in either of these. Rate €30 per hour.

Security Bond:

We know you will take good care of our apartment but accidents happen and unfortunately, they sometimes cost money to put right. The security bond will cover any damage or loss of equipment or furniture in the apartment. This may include specialist cleaning of rugs or furniture if stains or excessive soiling occurs (i.e if you spill red wine on the sofa). Where loss or damage is such that replacement, cleaning or repairs make it necessary to cancel subsequent bookings, compensation for these bookings may also be deducted from the security bond.

Insurance:

By making a reservation with us you declare that you are covered by your own insurance for any direct or indirect injuries that may occur on the premises and will not make any claim against the owners relating to these. Your personal belongings are not insured by us while inside the flat. We recommend you take travel insurance that covers you for loss or damage of your personal belongings.

Terms of occupancy:

The rented property is a private residence and you agree to indemnify the owners for any damage or loss to the property or its contents that occur during your stay. Violation of the occupancy limit of 4 adults will result in the forfeiture of all monies and termination of occupancy. We reserve the right to inspect the property during your stay. Further, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the building and refrain from any activity which interferes with the quiet enjoyment of its other residents. Owners are not liable for failures of any equipment, systems, or appliances, as major repair problems cannot be foreseen. Problems should be reported to the concierge.

Smoking policy:

This apartment is strictly non-smoking. Evidence of smoking anywhere in the apartment may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

As there are not many reviews for this location, I will try to be as thorough as possible. We stayed here for one month. The photos are slightly more flattering than the reality of the apartment. The space feels quite used in places (the towels and linens are worn and stained, for instance - clean, but in need of an update). It needs a deep clean and some general maintenance. One small issue we had was with working with a third-party host - Maïté, as is noted in the description, is not the owner of the apartment. The hinges of the toilet seat were completely broken upon arrival and for two women, the toilet was unusable. It was fixed quickly (we think) because we happened to catch the owner himself and notify him of the issue. Repairs like that should be done before the arrival of guests. The tv was also broken - Maïté's representative was adamant that it had to be fixed because it was listed as an amenity. We had no plans to use the tv so weren't concerned, but despite that, she insisted that it had to be fixed. It never was. Later she asked us to contact the owner about it. We never felt entirely comfortable directing our questions to the owner as Maïté was the host. Nothing major, but we plan to avoid third-party Airbnb situations for the future. I've had better Airbnb hosts in the past - a little more considerate. There was no hand soap when we arrived, for instance. It's a cheap little thing, but it would have been greatly appreciated by two people coming off several long flights. When we asked, they said it wasn't their responsibility to provide soap. Which is maybe true, but... it would have been a nice (inexpensive) hosting gesture. Little things like that. They also didn't check in with us at any point during the month to see how our stay was progressing. The apartment is on the fourth floor, windows overlooking the courtyard. The courtyard can be noisy at times until late. But that is common for any city and not a major complaint - we shut the windows and used earplugs. But just so you are aware, it is a busy building with people coming and going at all hours. The location of the apartment is incredible. Very close to the metro, Place des Vosges, the Picasso Museum, excellent groceries (Maison Plisson especially), cafes (Fragments, around the corner). Really really excellent Marais location for the price. Speaking of price, there was a deep discount for long-term stays. That was a fair price for the accommodation. We would have been a little disappointed if we had paid the short-term rates for the quality and size of the space. Overall, we were reasonably satisfied with this apartment given the price and location.

Sono stato qui per un mese con mia moglie per venire a trovare mia figlia che vive a Parigi con la sua famiglia in un appartamento lì vicino. L'appartamento è in posizione ottima e l'unico elemento negativo è il posizionamento al quarto piano senza ascensore. Purtroppo l'arredo e la gestione non sono davvero allo stesso livello. Destinato a lunghe permanenze (almeno 2 settimane) l'appartamento non dispone di veri armadi nè per i vestiti nè per le riserve alimentari; la cucina dispone di una dotazione minimale (una pentola e una padella ed un vecchio e limitatissimo set di posate, bicchieri e piatti). Il tavolo è enorme per le dimensioni della stanza ed il ripiano in vetro è scomodo e si sporca facilmente. Il letto fisso (insieme al tavolo) occupa inutilmente più di metà della superficie (un letto pieghevole renderebbe utilizzabile lo spazio nell'appartamento come è opportuno per permanenze medio/lunghe). La lavatrice, installata in modo instabile, nell'ex armadio batte contro il muro durante la centrifuga (il nostro vicino si è giustamente, lamentato). Insomma, l'arredamento andrebbe ripensato e migliorato, la manutenzione andrebbe regolarmente effettuata. La gestione, affidata dal proprietario ad un'agenzia, è negativa: abbiamo chiesto, al check-in, di avere almeno un appendi-abiti mobile ma siamo riusciti ad ottenerne uno solo dopo l'intervento dello staff di AIRBNB (molto efficiente). Abbiamo trovato asciugamani sporchi a terra dietro la lavatrice, due lampadine fulminate, le pile dei telecomandi della TV scariche e ho dovuto migliorare personalmente l'installazione della lavatrice (visti i problemi prima descritti), cambiare le lampadine (anche altre per le scale dove ne mancavano due), pulire lo scarico della doccia che era otturato da capelli e sporcizia, sistemare la tavoletta del WC, riavvitare i magneti di chiusura dell'armadietto vicino la porta. Ho così speso per queste riparazioni un valore pari al coupon che AIRBNB ci aveva concesso riconoscendo il nostro disagio (corredato da fotografie, come da procedura di contestazione all'arrivo). Si vede che l'appartamento non è gestito dal proprietario ma, con poca cura, da un'agenzia. Peccato!!!

I love meeting new people, wherever I meet them, to talk about their culture, their life, their city, their travels.
I travel myself quite a lot, having always funny and great experiences (Lapland in winter with no electricity and water, round trip in US and Canada - balloon fiesta festival, opera in Seattle,…). Travels help me to realize how lucky I am, to get out of my comfort zone, to learn new languages and culture, and to be more humble and empathic to people. I realize also when I get back home how much I miss fresh baguette and salted butter.

J'adore rencontrer de nouvelles personnes tout le temps, qui parlent de leur culture, leur ville, pourquoi ils viennent ici, où ils ont voyagé.
J'essaye moi-même de voyager le plus possible. En dehors de me permettre de respirer, ça me permet de mieux comprendre les besoins et requêtes des autres voyageurs, avec beaucoup plus d'empathie.
Je me suis aperçue que je suis pétrie d'habitudes et que je peux difficilement me passer de beurre salé avec du pain frais et du lait d'avoine.
