The space

The Glacier Lodge is a beautiful 3-storey Whistler condo with newly renovated common areas and ski-in/ski-out convenience, just steps from Blackcomb Mountain's Wizard quad chair and across from the Chateau Whistler Resort in Whistler's Upper Village.

Services on the ground floor in Glacier Lodge include a ski rental shop, beer/wine store and restaurant on the premises, and a small grocery store across the street. At the end of a great ski day, enjoy the common outdoor heated pool and two outdoor hot tubs. Glacier Lodge's facilities also include a common laundry room, ski valet, bike storage, a landscaped inner-courtyard with picnic tables, free wireless internet and underground parking.


Guests at the Whistler Glacier Lodge can use the laundry facilities or the free Wi-Fi. An outdoor heated pool and 2 outdoor hot tubs are also on-site.

Guest access

The 24 hours Reception provides access codes to the unit, the underground parking and pool/hot tub area.

Other things to note

Please note there are absolutely no pets allowed in the property. Our daughter is extremely allergic. We thank you for understanding and respecting this house rule.

1) One of our family members has a severe allergy, so no pets are allowed on our property. Thank you for understanding and respecting this rule!

2) There is a secure bike storage next to the front desk. No bikes are allowed inside the condo.

Place is exactly as advertised and is right in the Blackcombe village. I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.

The condo is bright, clean, and lovely. The space is set up to be truly functional and comfy. It was REALLY quiet in the condo despite being close to a nice outside space and the pool. It worked out so well for our family (which includes a toddler!) and was right in the upper village. EVERYTHING is walkable from the condo and Rick was so helpful and responsive. We hope to be back this winter to ski!! Thanks so much Rick.

We really enjoyed our time in Whistler. Rick's unit was just as described and was perfect for my wife and two sons (18 & 16). The staff at the front desk were very helpful with arranging white water rafting and providing info on other activities. Upper Village farmer's market on Sunday provided many options for a walking buffet brunch. Portobello right next to Glacier Lodge has god coffee & pastries, and it's a short 10-15 minute walk to the main village.

Great place! I was attending a conference at the Fairmont Chateau, and this apartment was absolutely perfect -- an easy 70 meters from the hotel and a MUCH better value! Beautiful and spacious apartment with very comfortable beds. The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth, and the owner was very responsive. The location is perfect, with immediate access to the village and the ski lifts, as well as a pleasant walk to the Lost Lake. The only thing that could be improved would be adding A/C, as it was 32C on the day I arrived (in June). But that's probably only relevant for a few days a year, and the weather was perfect for the remaining three days of the stay Look forward to being back, perhaps during the winter time for some skiing. :)

Rick's place was perfect and as described. Super close to the main village, we walked (8 min max) to the shops/ restaurants in our free time. Stayed during the summer but for winter guests it looked very close to the lifts as well. One thing to note that wasn't a big deal to us and it's in his description was how you check in w the front desk. Definitely different than Airbnb that I have done before but wasn't an issue. Just felt more like a hotel. Great place, definitely will stay here again.
