The room is s good as it looks, two pubs and a curry house and a chippie and a cashpoint all on within a very short stroll, off street parking, Rosie is lovely, breakfast very good for 'DIY'. Aldeburgh is 15 minutes away and very nice indeed for an afternoon stroll, The Lighthouse does an excellent lunch.

Rosie is incredibly efficient and welcoming. We booked very last minute and had a complicated set of needs having a 2 year old and being at a wedding all day. But Rosie made it very simple and relaxing after a long day. Beautiful house with lots of character, and an absolute bargain!

Rosie's B & B is located very close to the market place and within easy reach of two pubs. Her cottage is warm and welcoming. The grand piano in the living room is in very good working order, and I spent a happy hour tickling the ivories. The room is delightful; with flowers and fresh fruit, sink and full length mirror, and a very deep and cosy bed. I slept incredibly well! Breakfast is lovely: toast with spreads, juice, tea or coffee, fresh fruit, berries and yoghurt. I really enjoyed my stay and should my path stumble upon Saxmundham again, I shall be sure to look her up. Thank you Rosie.

Rosie User ProfileRosie is a superhost.

I am a semi-retired project manager (entertainment industry including stage and production management for theatre and opera, theme-parks and hotels) with three grown up children who visit at Christmas. I joined Airbnb in March 2015 as a host, and travelled round India and the UK meeting delightful people who have hosted me. I love the Airbnb ethos of sharing my house with guests.
My house is Grade 2 listed, although a mongrel mixture of eras, from the 17th c. cellar to 21st c. kitchen, with a late Georgian core, and 1930s add-ons, when it became the town's dentist. Very central, but quiet - somewhat eccentric - I love it. There is a Bechstein piano available to use for rehearsal or practice, which is old but lovely tone. It needs playing!
