A great cottage - clean; spacious and very well equipped. A great location if you want something rural and charming. the host David was fab - lots of tips for things to do and the trailer ride around the farm was such good fun! Caroline

Once there-arriving at night problematic-the place soon warmed up once the heating was on. Make sure to bring bread, juice, milk, eggs for breakfast as nearest place in Maiden Newton is a little drive away.

Response from David:
Their arrival at 11.30 at night following advice from our guest that 8.00 p.m. or if if not then, not at all that night did not help heating arrangements . No communication from them until after I was in bed . Food - lack of request from them but could have supplied if asked . Shop only 4 miles away. What bugs - please tell us ! Wifi - should have asked us beforehand - available in our farmhouse next door. Communication - problems with our guest's phone when he got lost nearby.

A secluded cottage well off the beaten track with amazing views. We had a large group including 5 children and the peaceful environment was ideal for them. Would highly recommend a stay.
