The cottage was once a stable with hay loft above but it has been carefully converted into a delightful little cottage for two. It has all the amenities that you will need to make sure you have a wonderful holiday. We are registered with the Andalucía tourist board, our number is: VTAR/MA/00985
Renovated cottage set in amongst the olive groves. Excellent access to motorway for sightseeing trips to Malaga, Granada, Sevilla and Cordoba. 40 minutes from the coast and beaches at Malaga. Five minutes outside of the village of Villanueva del Trabuco which has all amenities including banks, restaurants, health centre, bus stop etc. The village is famous for the '100 pipes' (Cien caños) which gush with cold spring water from the depths of the mountains and is in a picturesque setting surrounded by pine forests and mountains. The rustic cottage has an antique carved double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, tiled bathroom with shower, loo and hand basin, satelite TV, internet (WiFi), fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, oven, iron, microwave etc. Washing machine available on request. Sun terrace with sun beds and parasol and a breathtaking view of the mountains, private patio with BBQ, table and chairs.
The property has neighbours but is not overlooked. The track is actually a dead end although it leads off into the olive groves and makes an ideal 'after dinner' walk to take in some of the spectacular views. We are registered with the Andalucía Tourism Board (VTAR/MA)
They will have access to the roof terrace, small patio and a washing machine is available on request.
Interaction with guests
Usually only when called upon or in passing, we like to preserve our guests privacy but are always on hand if needed.
Other things to note
We have pets (including one exceptionally friendly tabby cat called Tarmac) and so do our neighbours. There is no smoking allowed inside the casita. The spiral staircase is quite narrow and not suitable for anybody with limited mobility.
