'Lodge by the Sea' is our home away from home and we want to share it with you. As part of the 57-acre Ocean Creek Plantation in North Myrtle Beach you will have so much more to do than simply enjoying the famous beach. Pools (indoor and outdoor), beachfront cabana and bar, putting green, The Fours Season's Restaurant, tennis courts and much more. By foot, bike or trolley you can explore hours of shopping, dining and theatre at the adjacent Barefoot Landing and never have to get back in your car.
From our 4th floor (top floor) end unit condo it's about a 200 yard heavily shaded walk to the beach. Our condo is not beach front but 1st tier behind the North tower. You can also catch the trolley that runs about every ten minutes and stops right at the beach-side pool and bar in the summer months. The great thing about staying here is that there are no busy streets to cross. So if you have older children they can easily get to the beach on their own without you worrying about traffic.
A unique pin code will be generated for each guest. The pin code expires upon departure and does not work before your arrival date and time.

This is a NON SMOKING unit. This includes VAPOR style devices.
PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED in the rental unit under any conditions.
DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - The following are house rules that may result in additional charges if not observed.
•No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
•No smoking rules are obeyed
•No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
•All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
•All food and drinks are removed from the fridge and discarded
•Thermostat - (summer - 78 degrees, winter - 68 degrees) returned to initial setting.
•Unit is left unlocked after final departure.
•All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
•No linens are lost or damaged.
•NO early check-in or late checkout.
•The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by Ocean Creek Plantation.
PAYMENT – Payment in full two (2) weeks prior to arrival date is required to be issued parking passes and door pin code.
CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel sixty (60) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least sixty (60) days prior to check-in.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to six (6) persons. An additional charge or $10.00 per person per night for guests in addition to six (6) will be assessed.
MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a three (3) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate.
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. You will be charged for damaged, lost, torn and sand ruined towels and linens.
RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
PARKING PASSES – Dated parking passes will be sent with your door pin code. Renters must display parking pass on the rear view mirror at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renter's expense. Leave the parking passes in the drop box at the guard shack upon departure.
HOT TUB – No children under the age of 12 permitted in hot tubs at any time. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.
WORKOUT FACILITY – Guests of “Lodge by the Sea” (2426 Lodge One of Ocean Creek Plantation) DO NOT have access to the workout facilities located in the resort. Workout facilities are for owners only.
DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200).
FREE WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS – Wireless internet access is provided as an amenity through the Ocean Creek Resort. The owner of this condo does not have the ability provide technical assistance and does not guarantee uninterrupted wireless internet access. No refunds will be given due to wireless internet access outages. Multiple wireless internet access points are available throughout the resort. Wireless security is the responsibility of the user as this is a public network.
HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless:
•The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or
•A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.
•The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:
oAny unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
oAny unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and
oAny advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
