We had a glorious week at Tree Top, a marvelous, rambling house that's been in the same family for more than half a century. The pictures don't do it justice - it's massive, rustic, and steeped in history, and we kept finding new stairwells and rooms. We loved being on the waterfront and picking blueberries right outside the kitchen window, and had no problem at all getting around the island on the bikes that (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Katrina and Olivia, who fetched us from the ferry, was great. Thanks so much, and we hope to return!

Treetop is truly a unique house in an amazing island fishing community! The views are spectacular, and it had plenty of space for my family of six to spread out. It is rustic and thus would not appeal to everyone, but my family loved the wood stove, outdoor shower (There's one inside too.), and eclectic antique furnishings. We also appreciate riding the ferry to the island itself, but it does take advance planning. The bikes were invaluable for getting around the island once we were there, and the house had plenty of books, games, and places to explore on quiet rainy days too. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

The whole Treetop experience was just fantastic! We all felt we were living the history of Islesford and making new history too! The bicycles were essential and just perfect; enjoyed by us all! The way the sun worked its way around the house as does the wind so no matter what the weather we could enjoy sitting outside. The fishing was great off the rocks out front as was the swimming! Just glorious! Both showers were perfect and the discovery almost daily of a new room or quirk was joyful! I can't recommend this experience highly enough, especially for people who enjoy being close to nature!

We had a great time at Treetop. Beautiful views, tranquil setting and a helpful host. We had lots of exercise with the walks from the dock to the house and a lot of stairs in and around the house. The house and beds are very rustic. The outdoor shower was delightful. We would vacation on the Island again.
