Great comfortable flat, with all modern conveniences and, large bedrooms, good shower pressure, second to none location for shops and transport, underfloor heated bathroom, "Alen Peralda "Hepa air purifier, perfect for allergy sufferers. Nice garden to relax in, 20 mins from most London touristic hotspots & airport. Comfort all the way!

The space

Your home away from home is located perfectly in the centre of three beautiful big tree filled parks: Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and Tooting Common, yet it is just a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from all the activity of Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Southbank, Victoria and Trafalgar Square.
Balham has some of the best transport links in the south: you have the choice of tube, rail, or bus from the station just two minutes walk from the apartment. With such close proximity to excellent public transport a car is not necessary, however with prior arrangement, parking permits are available for £8 a day, or you can pay per hour on parking meters at the front of the apartment.
Comfort and security are a big feature in this apartment. All locks are Banham high security insurance approved locks.
All bedding is 100% Egyptian cotton.
All towels are high quality luxuriously soft modal/cotton.

The property is located approximately two minutes walk from Balham tube (Northern Line) and overground rail station.
- 24 hour bus service to and from central London
- 20 minutes to Victoria
- 25 minutes to Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street
- 20 minutes to London Bridge
- 10 minutes to Clapham Junction
- Convenient location for Gatwick Airport (50 minutes) via either Clapham Junction or East Croydon rail stations. Taxis are also relatively cheap.
Large Sainsbury's supermarket at the end of the street open till 7am-10pm for general groceries.
At the end of our street there is a plethora of giftshops, fashion retailers, tea houses, coffee shops and even a Bikram yoga studio.
Post offices and banks are within a two minute walk.

Activities in the vicinity:
Balham has a huge variety of chic, ethnic or contempory restaurants all within a short walking distance from the flat (starting on this street!).
Balham also has a great nightlife with fashionable pubs and cocktail bars open until 2am most nights of the week. The famous Bedford Pub/Banana Cabaret live music and comedy venue is right at the end of our road and there are three spacious parks closeby that are perfect for jogging, walking or laying in the sun (in warm weather!).

Balham is a great location, it's safe and attracts both families and individuals of all ages.

Just a little bit of mutual respect. I will give you a clean & tidy flat and in return, I would hope due from you. This is a residential house. Come in quietly if you are out late, but feel free to come and go whenever you want. No smoking inside, however, smoking in front and back garden permitted. No guests to be permitted in house without prior consent.
Please take care of the keys given to you at the start of your stay. If a key is lost, the cost of replacing lock barrels and keys cut to suit is £350. In order that the safety and security of my guests is maintained a loss of a key will mean a forfeiture of Deposit to cover cost of lock barrel replacement.

A great flat in a great location. We were going to a wedding in Balham so was perfect for that but it would also be handy for London sightseeing as its very close to Balham station. We were travelling with two small children so was great to have the extra space provided by staying here. We can also recommend the play area and lake on Tooting Bec common which is a short walk away!

A hidden gem in the heart of Balham...a real home from home! The place is cosy, modern and very well equipped will all the comforts one needs and an amazing secluded garden. I would definitely recommend Steve's place to anyone.

We had a lovely stay this weekend in Stephens flat. It started with a friendly and helpful welcome and check in from his neighbour Justin, the flat was clean and well equipped and had lots of lovely little touches such as toiletries, tea, coffee, milk and a welcome bottle of prosecco and shortbread! The two bedrooms are a great size, and the living area is perfect for relaxing in with access to the lovely garden. We had a parking permit for the Saturday so we could park outside the flat on the road, this was £8 which we thought was great value and the parking was plentiful. We will definitely stay here again...thank you Stephen!

The flat is really good and comfortable. It is very close to the underground, with loads of shops near to it. Also, everything inside the house is great, especially the host Stephen is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend anyone who wants to visit London to stay in this flat.

Stephen's home is just wonderful - a great location (5 mins from the tube) a large Sainsbury's and an array of restaurants quite literally on your doorstep. The interior is stunning, with modern finishes and plenty of space while still being compact and having a homely feel. Stephen was an awesome host who was superb in communicating with me from the get-go. Also, he was most accommodating to our needs and check in & out times and really went the extra mile in ensuring our stay was perfect as well as having a few unexpected and much appreciated personal touches in the way of condiments and treats. I'd highly recommend Stephen's home and endorse him as a super host. Thanks so much!

Hi there, I am an Australian, who stopped off for a week in London after travelling and stayed 15 Years! I work as a Handyman, so decided to buy the flat you see at auction, and use all my experience to make the most comfortable place I could from the delapidated old wreck that it was. I had a flatmate for 6 years, who loved the place and is still a good friend, but decided it could be interesting to try something different and meet people from around the world.
