The Casita was well equipped for making meals and feeling at home! It was really nice to be in a neighborhood away from the downtown bustle. The neighbors were friendly and really open to helping me in any way they could. Although Christina and I never met face to face, I feel like we did! She was very helpful and had a lot of resources and suggestions. She was attentive to my needs while still being very trusting and giving my brother, my friend and I privacy. There is a lock box for keys which was REALLY nice. It was convenient to not have to coordinate multiple people that might not all be doing the same thing in a day... not to mention not keeping track of a set of keys on vacation! Haha. Excellent value. Comfortable budget housing. Ps- an uber to most areas downtown/malecon and or from there was only $37 pesos! Quick walk down the hill but sometimes you're too tired for all that:) Pps- since uber prices fluctuate with demand, I should mention I was there in September, low season.

The house was super cozy and nicely furnished. Everything in the house worked perfectly. The host was super responsive and listed some great ideas for adventures during the day. All around a great place for the price!

Christina's casita is so wonderful that I booked it again several months after my first stay there! Stepping into the casita is a pleasure every time, an authentic Mexican dwelling with high-end amenities...bath towels, bedding, furniture, decorations, nice touches here and there such as a small bookshelf with fascinating literature. The casita is complete with everything you'd need for a pleasant stay in Puerto Vallarta, from hand soap to reliable air conditioning to a strong wifi signal. In a nutshell my stay (both of my stays) at Christina's casita was fantastic, and she is as communicative and responsive as a superior host would be expected to be...she is one-of-a-kind! Muchas gracias!

Loved staying at Christina's casita. It was an easy walk to the bus stop and to the Malecon and shopping. It was a very comfortable casita with a king size bed and air conditioning which was very nice after being out all day. She has detailed instructions on how to get places and where you might want to go. She was very responsive by texting whenever we had a question. We enjoyed our stay there immensely.

It's a steep climb to the casa! The house was very large and pretty. There's a small private outdoor area for washing clothes manually. The air conditioning worked well in the large bedroom, and a powerful fan was provided. Christina provided snacks for us like fresh fruit, marzipan, and coca cola. She also provided us with boogie boards that we unfortunately didn't get a chance to use. The water was not working initially, but Christina was there ASAP to fix it. Once it was running, it worked fine. The neighbours like to have loud parties (Sunday before May 1), but in the back bedroom with the fan running it was quiet. The neighborhood was always full of people in the streets, and local groceries were a bit scarce.

I enjoy a life filled with friends and family, who are constantly inviting me to grow and laugh. I am a life-long learner, delighted to have continuous education as a part of my daily experience. My favorite places are Thailand for the food, massage and sweet people, San Miguel de Allende for the out-of-this-continent vibe, just a leap away from home and the turquoise-cream waters of the Caribbean... As a host, I'm all about providing you a base with all the comforts of home, access to all the tourist frills, but within a part of our city that allows you to pan into the authentic Mexican experience, just off the beaten path. I hope you enjoy our little slice of Mexico!
