Large, spacious, absolutely unique space - cave design - accommodates 2 people and a possible smaller creature (there is an additional small bed as well), 1 bathroom + kitchen. The entire place is carved in white stone, true to old Greek and Balkan characteristics, combined with a modern touch. Central location - Triovasalos, close to shops, market, public transit, banks. Less than 10 min drive to Sarakiniko, Plathiena and Firopotamos. 10 min walk to Plaka and Trypiti. Wi-fi available.

The space
This is a unique place. We take great pride in keeping the architectural style intact- these spaces were very common on the island hundreds of years ago. They are called "Katafygio" (Greek: Καταφύγιο, meaning refuge, shelter, lodge). They are also great for the summer as they keep cool.

Of note that this is not a hotel. It is an actual a guest en-suite.

We are also not a hospitality business, hence we are unable to offer the kind of professional hospitality services. But if you want an authentic place, one that it is architecturally unique in a local village which is central yet less impacted by the negative effects of over-tourism, than this is a great place to enjoy.

You will fall in love with the place and with Milos as well.

House is located in Triovassalos, the most central part of the Island- the so-called economic centre of the Island for the locals. You can find shops, banks, pharmacies, grocery stores, supermarkets, bakery, local kafenios, tavernas, flower shops, taxi stations, health clinics and the main hospital of the Island.

Triovassalos is located between Plaka and Adamas. 10 min drive from Adamas, 5 min drive from Plaka. Most of our guests walk to Plaka. You have access to 2 nearby bus stops in Triovassalos.

Two minute walk to the ClinicTest where you can take a COVID-19 PCR test or rapid test.
