The space

Waldrons Farm Barn is a lovely Listed Building which has been converted to create an inviting and cosy self catering cottage, full of character and absolutely ideal for a Cotswolds Holiday. Externally, the cottage is surrounded by open countryside, a private garden and a tennis court. Internally the barn is modernised to a very high standard with all mod cons throughout creating a home which is sure to please the most demanding of tastes. (The radiators are amazing - you have to see them to believe them!!) An excellent choice for those looking to 'get-away' or to tour the southern Cotswolds and Bath region.

The village of Brinkworth is located in rural Wiltshire, 5 miles east of Malmesbury and 6 miles west of Junction 16 of the M4; 14 miles south of Cirencester, the ancient capital of the Cotswolds. It is believed that Brinkworth is actually the longest village in England and yet small at the same time with a population of approximately 1300. There is a public house (within walking distance) as well as a church. There are more more shops and services to be found in Malmesbury and Royal Wootton Bassett, both c 4 miles away. Bath is about 25 mins away, while the attractions of the Southern Cotswolds are all within an easy drive - including Cirencester, Tetbury (excellent for antiques) and Stow-on-the -Wold.

The village of Brinkworth is located in rural Wiltshire, 5 miles east of the market town of Malmesbury (itself about 6 miles west of Junction 16 of the M4). The village is believed to be the longest 'little village' in England, we're not sure of this feat! There is a pub in Brinkworth, within easy walking distance from the holiday cottage. There is a village shop in the neighbouring village of Great Somerford (3 miles) with more shops and services in Royal Wootton Bassett incl. a large Sainsbury, 5 miles away. Waitrose are in Malmesbury open 7 days/wk

A local Farmer's Market comes to the village every Wednesday.

The ancient capital of the Cotswolds - Cirencester - is approx 20 mins away where there is an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions making it well worth a visit during your stay. Slightly further afield is Bath which is approximately 25 mins away, while the attractions of the Southern Cotswolds are all within an easy drive - including Cirencester, Tetbury (excellent for antiques) and Malmesbury.

Beautiful little barn in a tranquil setting. Charles and Ali are excellent hosts and were most helpful. Their 3 dogs are absolutely beautiful and all have such placid characters. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend.

Great place to stay with everything needed on hand. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and most welcoming to us and our Labrador Max. Would not hesitate to recommend the barn to people looking for peace and quiet but with lots to see and visit near to location.

A beautiful converted barn that is in a great location. Not far from the M4 yet once there totally in the middle of beautiful meadows! Walking distance to a great pub that also has a farm shop! Charles and Ali were so kind and welcoming, lending us their BBQ and providing so many recommendation we just have to go back!!! Also, our young dog made great mates with Rolo who provided a good role model for our little pup! Beautiful barn, great location, lovely hosts. X

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary and it was just perfect. The beautiful landscape was amazing and it was quiet and peaceful. The barn was very clean and well-equipped for all that you would need. Charles was a great host and nothing was any trouble for him. We felt very welcome and would not hesitate for a second to recommend this place. We are already looking forward to going back.
