About this listing
Spacious & newly created double/twin en-suite bedroom set in a charming 1830's woollen mill in heart of magical Aberaeron. This is a quiet position, just a 2 minute walk from the bustling town and harbour. Full of good restaurants, pubs and walks.
This is a lovely large room with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. It is very quiet overlooking the river which provides a gentle background murmur. The bedding is 100% cotton with towels provided. I provide tea and coffee in the room with fresh milk. I do have an extra bed I can put up for an extra guest or child. There is a sitting area and TV.
Their room is their home for the duration of their stay and guests have a front door key to come and go at any time. The kitchen is on the ground floor and guests may put items in my fridge and can make up their own picnic if required. If the weather allows, guests are welcome to sit in the garden!
Interaction with guests
I ran an award winning guest house on the harbour for 10 years and know the area extremely well. I enjoy helping guests plan their days and there is a large basket of maps and local information in their room. I am happy to cook breakfast if required. I am always happy to answer questions. I will usually be at home during your stay. I will respect your privacy.
Other things to note
I can provide a hair dryer and ironing board and iron if requested. I want to make your visit a happy and satisfied one so please ask if there is anything I can do or provide.
I would ask guests to respect my home and not bring back food to eat in the bedroom. I am happy to let them eat a takeaway in the kitchen by arrangement. I do not allow smoking in the house. I am sorry to say no to pets as I have a very friendly little dog who is not used to 4 legged visitors!

I am a mother of three children, the youngest still at home. I love Aberaeron and sharing it with guests. I garden and read hugely and enjoy music, theatre and ballet. I travelled a lot before I got married and have been to Burma and India. I look forward to resuming my travels in a couple of years. I will certainly use Airbnb! I ran an award winning guest house here in Aberaeron for 10 years when my children were all young and made many friends who returned regularly. I specialised in planning their days out and it was very well received.
