Claudio is indeed a very attentive host. He welcomed us in on our first night in a very friendly manner despite us speaking different languages, took us on a lovely trip to Mount Etna and dropped us off at the airport on our last day (even though he had new guests arriving imminently). He went over and above to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The apartment itself is imaginative, well kept and well stocked with linen, towels and tea! Even though it is very central within Catania, the apartment itself is quiet and peaceful. We thank you Claudio.

I've never met a host who is so kind and thankful because you stay in his/her apartment. Claudio was happy to provide us every information we needed. Moreover, he even offered to drop us at the airport in the last day. The apartment is lovely and cozy and unique by its design. The accuracy of the description on airbnb and the reviews you read are true. The apartment is very clean and you have everything you need here: from washing machine, which it's working perfectly, to kitchen equipment and so on. The location is very good, very easy to find if you come from the train station (around 15 minutes by walk) and 5 minutes walk to the center. You have restaurants nearby, shops, grocery shops, pharmacies so basically, it's the best place where to stay when you are in Catania. I warmly recommend Claudio's apartment. Trust me, you won't regret it! :)

This place is simply magical! You will be astonished by all the details Claudio arranged in the flat. Located in the heart of a vibrant city of Catania, yet you hear NOTHING from outside. Perfect place to come back to after exploring the eastern part of Sicily. You can find many caffees/restaurants/diners close by, so you'll lack for nothing. Claudio himself is a great host taking splendid care of his guests, willing to help with anything. He took us to an astonishing trip to Etna. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The time we spent at Claudio's place and with him in Catania was the highlight of our trip so far. His generosity and kindness made us feel like a part of the family. Breakfast on our arrival, snacks, and a personal walk around the city was completely unexpected. His place is really convenient off a main street, so it was easy to get to from the airport, close to tons of restaurants, the Savia bakery and the main street in Catania. The apartment itself was our favourite Airbnb yet and the images speak for themselves. It's so unique. Even though it's on a main street, the building has an inner square that you look over, so it's very quiet, other than the lovely birds chipping at sunrise in the morning. Despite not being able to speak the same language, it was a non-issue. We made it work and had fun with it. We're so grateful to have found Claudio's place, and if you're even looking at this place, just book it. You'll have an experience that you'll always remember.

Claudio's apartment has the ideal base to explore Catania and East Sicily. Located on a busy street with interesting shops around the corner and a lively square with cafes & bakeries, the colorful apartment is clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable, big enough for two. Well equipped kitchen even has a washing machine. But the real attraction is Claudio himself - warm, hospitable, determined to make the stay fully enjoyable and memorable. He hopped into our car to help us find a place to park, checked in over the four days of our stay to see if he could help in any way; he offered (and we accepted) to drive us in his car to a butterfly sanctuary and then on to Mt. Etna. It was as magical, as he said it would be, and Claudio's enjoyment was visible and almost as ecstatic as our own.

Sicilia needs love is the theme of Claudios appartment. But there is so much love in this cosy accomodation. Every detail was chosen with affection. If you want to feel the sicilian atmosphere, then you are right at Claudios LIVING appartment. You can say so much friendly words about Claudio. He is a very special comfortable and wholehearted person. At our stay we could reached him every time. His open-minded person and his addiction to help is very special. We visited together the Etna and he showed us very special places in Catania. At the end he brought us to the airport. Claudio was quite sure one of the most special highlihghts of our trip to sicilia. We would visit him and his appartment surely again.
