This room is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The decor is also a huge plus. We didn't get to meet Kath but Tom was incredibly gracious and got us settled in quickly. The room also has a private entrance and is right next to the bathroom.

Tom was extremely welcoming and helpful and had a cold pitcher of water waiting happily for my in the room. The room was clean and tidy and although a little creaky the bed was very comfortable. Tom's place is a little out of the central district by a few blocks but easily walkable and tom is a wealth of information about local flora, sights, and places to eat. I would happily stay there again!

The room was cozy and the bed and shower were amazing! Humboldt County is its own kind of odd (but good) little culture. Do some research on the area before you go so you make time for everything you want to see. It rains a lot. Like a lot, lot. The beaches and bay are beautiful and though I did not see downtown Eureka, I saw downtown Arcata and spots back in the mountains. I did not meet Kath as she was away but did meet Tom and learned about the area from him. Totally as advertised.
