What can I say about Susmita’s place that I haven’t already said before. I now go to Delhi as much to see her and spend time with her as I do for other reasons. I absolutely love her place for its location, the convenience it offers and the comfort that comes with familiarity. I can not imagine ever seeking an alternative accommodation in Delhi. Sushmita is a gracious host, a wonderful cook and a terrific conversationalist. I thank Airbnb for helping me make a new, very valued, friend :)

Sushmita is easily one of the best hosts I have had the fortune of staying with anywhere in the world. Her warmth, attention to detail and willingness to help guide you to her place unmindful of the hour of the day all go to ensure that your stay at her lovely home is truly memorable. The food, the room and the facilities are all simple, elegant and just perfect. Would highly recommend her place and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else whenever I need to visit the city.

Suresh, thank you so much for your kind sentiments and words. Believe me, hosting you was no different from having a dear family member home, despite this being your first visit. I will cherish this experience. And look forward to sharing my home again with friends like you.

Staying in this house and this room with our lovely host Sushmita is always such a treat. Sushmita, as ever, is a delightful host, great to talk to, helpful and she cooks delicious Indian cuisine. Sushmita always helps you try to find where to buy things, get things fixed etc. Sushmita's place always seems to attract wonderful, open minded, people who are concerned about social justice and the environment. So I have enjoyed the company of many of the other guessed who had the fortune to wind up at Sushmita's lovely apartment. This is a beautiful quiet room, in a great apartment and a leafy, quiet suburb. Highly recommend!

If you have the pleasure to stay with Sushmita, you will be blessed indeed! The experience of staying in her home is exceptional- a total haven away from the hustle and bustle of New Delhi filled with warmth, comfort and class. If you are a foodie- you are in for a treat, and how can you not be happy with a rooftop secret garden?! Sushmita is welcoming and very helpful if you require information on where to go and what to do. I cannot recommend staying here highly enough- it is a total delight! Relax and enjoy =^+^=

Henriette says: "Sushmitas apartment in Dehli is a nicely and individually decorated quiet heaven in this noisy and over crowded city. The apartment is on the third floor and has a sonny balcony, which I used often to relax, read a book and drink Sushmitas delicious ginger tea. Every room has its own bathroom and everything is nicely kept and very clean. On the roof top Sushmita keeps a wonderful garden, which also provides the vegetable for her delicious cooking. If wished Sushmita cooks for her guest. We ate there every evening - I think that says all about her cooking skills! I recommend this place highly."

I am a 63 year young lady with a great zest and energy for life, for people and their cultures. I spend my time learning more about about India, Indian culture, art, world cinema, social issues, etc. I am a keen bird and butterfly-watcher, which takes me to remote corners of India. I love gardening - another way of expressing my love of Nature - and cooking, reading, watching films, advocating to friends, acquaintances and strangers about responsible living, social issues, etc. when in town. I also love to travel to learn about different people, habitats, food, culture. I am widely travelled in India and across the world, but have 150 more sovereign states to cover of the current 195!
My mottos:
Live courageously
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Be kind to Nature
