Our stay at Sue's place was unforgettable. The location of Saint Jeannet is perfect for those who want to travel by car East to Cannes and Antibes, South to Nice, West to Monaco and San-Remo. The house is basically a museum from 1960's with very beautiful decor, gardens and architecture in general. The view is stunning and peaceful, especially in the mornings after intensive nights in the cities. You can access some shops and bakeries up in the village through the garden, but it is easy to get lost in the uphill serpentine roads. By the way, I wouldn't recommend continuing up via Chemin du Peyron by car all the way - the turns are basically 180 degrees and are only appropriate for scooters and probably small to medium sized donkeys. We've been staying on the first floor, which was very comfortable, neat and offered all necessary facilities: wifi, tv, microwave, dishwasher etc. All in all it was a great stay and great experience all-round.

Sue's villa is divine! We loved waking up to that beautiful view, walking around picturesque Saint Jeannet, and driving to all the beaches the South of France has to offer- Monaco, Nice, Antibes, Cannes. It was a truly amazing an experience and we would return in a heartbeat!

I booked for a colleague, but he wrote this... Jonothan said it was a beautiful quiet location with a stunning view. Very light and airy and all rooms open out to sea views. Excellent location for touring the area. Easy access to St Jeannet, local shops and markets. Everything provided for, very clean and friendly handover. Ideal for a romantic holiday for two or as a quiet retreat. I would definitely go again!

Response from Sue:
Hi John , natural mosquito repellent was provided and other guests have found that perfectly suitable as we do not use chemical fogging. Infact the following guests had this to say after your visit .......after 4 days in your location a short summary: Fantastic, we Love your House, your garden, the beautyful flowers and the Spirit around us. Every Morning my wife sits on the small Bank at the end of the Garden and enjoy her Yoga Time. We visited St, Paul, Vence, and today Nice. But Love to Come back home to the silence of La Desirade. Enjoy our meal with herbs from Countryside and Look in the evening to the Lights of Côte d' Azur. Wish you all the best wherever you are with thanks that we can be here. Greetings from St. Jeannet, La Desirade - Aynur+Manfred

A charming villa. We loved the garden and French doors in the bedroom and living room. One was locked when we arrived, but Andreea the property manager told us where to find the key. It was a real plus that a baby bed was available. The villa is right at the base of the St Jeanette village. The first morning you use the garden gate and walk up into the village will be a real treat. The location means there is some travel time to the costal towns. It's about 20 minutes down to the A8. Coming home during rush hour from Villefrance can take over an hour.

Super cute little Villa about 1/2 hour outside of Nice. Great communication with the house manager and everything went really smoothly! There is a small village within walking distance from the house, but I don't know if it was the time of year but shops were very rarely open, so we ended up eating most our meals in Vence about a 10 minute drive away. Stunning views! My only recommendation if staying is that you definitely need to have a car in order to get around.

Great apartment with a nice view. We loved the terrace with the glass table. There's this great panorama yet no one can see you, so it feels very private sitting there. However it's not that quiet because you can always hear the cars and motorcycles from the street down the hill although it looks far away... So it's not absolutely quiet but it's still ok. The nice little town center is just a few minutes away. You'll find a bakery, a butcher and a few restaurants. Although the kitchen is indeed full equipped, I would say it needs an update though it's very old and used. Same for the bed although we slept good. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Sue's apartment!

Despite this we will take into consideration your comments in our usual winter services " to do list " in the apartment , kindest regards, sue
