Other things to note
We are only 6 miles from Heathrow, which does mean that when the wind blows from the east we may have many planes near the house early in the morning. Flights during the night are rare.

I am retired and my family has flown, so now I am enjoying life with lots of visiting family and old friends. (My idea of a good holiday is to visit them abroard and in the lovely parts of this country where they live.) I never tire of taking people round the largest inhabited castle in Europe just up the road, and stopping by at a café for a cup of coffee to watch the military band march past in their red coats. You can walk safely, in not more than 15 minutes, to everything from my dear little house: the shops, lots of good pubs and places to eat, some night clubs, the beautiful little live theatre that often has London previews showing, railway stations to two different parts of London in under an hour, the park just at the end of the road with farm land beyond it. I could go on. You had better come and see it for yourself! Our down-side is that as we are only 6 miles from Heathrow: when the wind is from the east the planes start at 6.00am or even earlier, but happily flights at night after 11.30pm are very rare. Thursday at 7.00 am is garbage collection time, (I have ear plugs available!). Otherwise Brook Street is a narrow cul-de-sac so we don't get much traffic but plenty of friendly dog walkers on their way to the park. We have free open-air gated parking – rare in Windsor. We have TV in the sitting room and WI-FI everywhere, a good washing machine, no pets, and the new bathroom with shower is close by your bedroom and free when you need it.
I provide a good breakfast, and then I prefer my guests to be out enjoying themselves until sometime during the evening.
My life motto is: Never let a good opportunity slip past!
