The apartment Leonardo is the perfect place for your farm holidays in Tuscany, the farmhouse San Silvestro is located in the heart of Chianti area, between Florence and Siena. The Chianti hills are a strategic location to visit the famous historic cities and most beautiful medieval villages of Tuscany, but also a peaceful place where you can experience a real relaxing holiday with your family and friends.
The apartment (70mq) is on the lower floor of the Old Barn. It consists of a large living room with dining table and chairs, a double sofa bed and satellite TV, a well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with a queen size bed, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with enclosed shower.
The apartment has been recently restored respecting the original style: stone walls, exposed wooden beams and floors in hand-made terracotta tiles. The interior furnishings are a combination of antiques and Tuscan rural pieces.
The apartment has independent entrance and parking space.
In the private garden there is a gazebo (4m x 3,5m) with table and chairs where you can eat outdoors while enjoying a spectacular view over the hills and valleys of Chianti.
The swimming pool (6m x 12m) is surrounded by ample green spaces with olive trees and old stone walls.
A holiday in our farm is a memorable experience: you will feel a guest and not a customer.

Our property is located between the medieval village of San Donato (3km) and Castellina (6km), of Etruscan and Roman origins, in the Chianti Classico area, right in the heart of Tuscany.
The farm is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, orchards and woods. The quiet location and broad views of the countryside are the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. This is also an ideal location for visiting famous art cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, San Giminiano, Pisa, Volterra, as well as the nearby villages of the famous Chianti Classico area: Greve, Barberino Val d'Elsa, Radda, Gaiole, Tavarnelle, San Casciano with their churches and abbeys, castles and fortresses, farmhouses and villas.
In the village of San Donato, only 3km away, there are some grocery stores, a supermarket, a pharmacy, doctors, two banks, a post office, a petrol station, wine shops where you can taste the famous Chianti Classico wines and a museum of country culture.
In the Romanesque Pieve di San Donato you can admire the baptismal font in glazed earthenware by Giovanni della Robbia.
Both San Donato and Castellina have several excellent restaurants, taverns, and inns.
In the neighbourhood there are tennis courts, a golf course, fishing and horse riding possibilities. You can rent a mountain-bike in our farm and our gentle hills are full of shady lanes, perfect for cycling or trekking.
