Kay has a wonderful place to stay. The tree house is lovely with amazing views. Chickens and all the yummy things that make it homely included a well loved garden. Kay was lovely to chat to and Sarah did a lovely intro. Would have loved to stay longer x next time

This is why I love using Airbnb. A convivial and gracious host (Kay) and an eclectic home in a beautiful setting. Roosters crowing in the morning as a wake up call. Eggs from the chickens roaming the backyard. Only a short hike downhill to the center of Nelson and the nearby river. Nice views from the balcony, connected to the kitchen and living quarters. Although the 'tree house' room was unavailable, I was provided a room in the main house (Kay alerted me to this change prior to my visit). House rules are strict, but reasonable. The fridge and cupboards were stocked with a generous assortment of foods (love the home-made muesli) for guests. I'd definitely stay here again if I am ever fortunate enough to visit Nelson in the future. Thanks, Kay!
