The space

Hi !
We have a lovely and cosy place, 75 sqm, in the heart of Berlin.
We lived in a lot of different neighborhoods in Berlin over the years, but we are now set here in Mitte, and it's our favorite place to live.
You'll be close to everything, supermarkets, museums and galeries, restaurants and bars, second-hand and designer shops, and even a 24/7 mini-market almost on the doorstep. The best Syrian food in town is around the corner, you'll also find great French, Italian, Asian and German food. The best Ramen place in town (Cocolo) is also around the corner, as well as the best Japanese burger place (Sisho Burger). The street is super quite, and you can reach every neighborhoods very easily, via U-bahn, S-bahn, or Tramway.
The apartment has a 15sqm terrace, with sun coming from late morning until late afternoon, and beautiful sunset from the living room.
You'll find everything you need in the kitchen and in the bathroom (bath tub). We also have a comfy living room, perfect to project movies or have a drink, and a bedroom with a double bed where you'll sleep like a baby, just hearing the sound of the birds in the courtyard. There is absolutely no car noise. You'll be on the top floor, without elevator. I personally like it, it keeps you in shape !
The flat is just in front of the Stattbad Mitte, a great swimming pool with a glass roof to look at the sky. For transportation, U-Bahn Rosenthaler Platz (U8) is at 5 min walking, S-Bahn Oranienburger Strasse is at 4 min, and the tram going to Prenzlauer Berg/Hauptbahnhof is just behind the house, at Nordbahnhof.
Mädchenschule / Pauli Saal, Me Collectors Room, Kunst Werke, Ballhaus, Bandole sur Mer, Themroc, Odessa Bar, Larry's bar, Melody Nelson, Schokoladen, etc, are all are on your doorstep or close by. Museum Island is very close as well.

Please don't hesitate to contact us anytime !
Kind regards,
Maxime and Jen

ps - Please note that we are not an hotel. We live in the apartment, and only rent it when we are away. So even if we clean sheets, towels, etc, freshly before your arrival, don't except everything to look brand new and immaculate like in a (or at least some) hotel rooms...:)

We had a wonderful stay at Maxime's place. The communication was perfect and even thought we never met Maxime in person the contact was always nice and friendly. The apartment itself is absolutely as described, quiet, in a very good neighbourhood and we only can recommend staying here. Thanks Maxime also for the warm welcome. ;)

The stay at Maxime's place was great. The host is friendly and reliable, he took a good care about the accommodations and key arrangements. The place is really unique and has its charm with all the collectables including knives, magazines, vintage furniture. There were some cool touches like an umbrella at the door, battery charger on the kitchen table and other tiny details that show care. The location is probably the best you can wish for. All the top Forsquare picks for food, shopping and fun are located at walking distance. Transportation is easy. Highly recommend!

It was very pleasant stay for five days we were in Berlin. The apartment is spacious, clean and very quiet. It was also very close to museum island and there is lots of restaurants near by. Maxime was helpful and responded quickly to questions we had. Overall good place to stay in Berlin.

It was perfect! The apartment, the location, everything! Everything is close, S station, markets, bars, restaurants, and if you are not lazy Alexander platz is 25 min away by foot! Me and my friend had an amazing time, the apartment is in the center but very quiet! Just perfect!!

We absolutely loved our month at Maximes apartment. It was a true home away from home. The location couldn't have been more perfect. It was very conveniently located to all public transport and the we were surrounded by endless amazing restaurants and cafes. Thanks again for a fantastic stay.
