This cozy private space sleeps 4 and offers you all you need! Walk to nearby restaurants and shops or take advantage of one of the many trails right out your door. The Otter's Den is surrounded by the beautiful majestic Rocky Mountains and the Bow River; feel rejuvenated on your morning stroll! We welcome you to our home away from home!

The space
The Otter's Den will be the ultimate retreat! Fully RENOVATED with a mountain modern decor, this loft apartment is fully private and separated from the main home occupied by the owners’ family. With parking right in front of your door, the private entrance offers plenty storage for skis, snowboards, strollers or suitcases. Up the stairs, you'll find a quiet seating nook to the left with beautiful mountain views where you can curl up to read a book or enjoy your morning coffee. Your living quarters are to the right, which includes a spacious area with full kitchen/living room, bedroom and bathroom. Due to Banff by-laws, a full stove is not permitted, however we’ve got you covered with a large toaster oven, range top and microwave. The kitchen includes full size refrigerator, dishwasher, all cooking ware and a special coffee/tea station where you will find a supply of local favorites for you to enjoy! No need to bring the kitchen essentials such as dish soap, aluminum foil, paper towels (etc) as you will find everything you need around the kitchen should you decide to cook a meal or make lunch for your daily adventures!

Lots of storage space and in-unit laundry including washer/dryer with a supply of detergent for your convenience. Charming bedroom with large walking closet with a queen size bed and separated from the living room with a wood sliding door. In the living room you will find a very comfortable pull out couch to sleep a total of 4. In the quiet nook above the staircase, we have provided the flexibility to spread out with a single memory foam tri folding mattress suitable for one person. The Otter’s Den provides plenty of cozy extra blankets, pillows and soft linens as your comfort is always our top priority.

We are also mindful of what a family with children requires when travelling and The Otter’s Den is well equipped with safety gate, high chair, traveller’s crib, children books and board games for the whole family to enjoy!

Backing onto an alley way to many walking paths with parking right in front of your door. Central and quiet location, approximately 5 minute walk from downtown with many restaurants, grocery stores and shops. Walking distance to scenic areas like Tunnel Mountain trails, Surprise corner and Cascade gardens to name a few. Approximately a 15 minute walk to the Banff Springs Hotel with many beautiful spots along the way such as the Bow River walking bridge and Bow Falls.

We’re located a 5 minute walk from the Banff Centre where you can find a full gym, indoor pool, climbing gym, restaurants and a place where you can enjoy an outdoor concert or many artistic representations.

With 2 boys under 10, they will also be able to provide ideas for activities for the whole family! Although new to Airbnb they have been providing accommodations to hundreds of people for over two decades in their long-term rental accommodations. They are now excited to have the opportunity of hosting on a short-term basis allowing them to meet more guests from around the world.
