Our colorful, comfy and safe apartment is a great place to call home between your Philly adventures. It sleeps four and is perfectly located to explore Old City, Chinatown, Rittenhouse, Reading Terminal and the Italian Market by foot, subway, taxi or bicycle.
This beautiful apartment in the heart of historic Old City promises to deliver a Philly experience full of culture, history, food and fun. The space has a loft feel with awesome exposed brick walls and tons of natural light. Comfortably accommodating four, the apartment provides a safe place to rejuvenate and refresh between your local adventures. Noise: We live on a city block full of bars and restaurants. We love the accessibility this allows and the energy of the area, but it does mean there is music, people's voices, cars, etc. This apartment is on the back half of the building with no road behind so the street noise is blocked, but there is club music typically Wednesday, Friday and Saturday that can be heard from the space next door until 2am. If you plan to go to sleep earlier than the club closing time on these nights, our apartment is probably not a good fit for you. The rest of the week is quiet as the club is not open.
The entire apartment is yours for the time of your stay. Coffee and tea are stocked to jump start your mornings and the TV is set up with Netflix and Pandora.

We are a young married couple in our thirties. We've traveled to 39 countries between the two of us, 25 of them together and counting. We typically travel as backpackers and while we love to be comfortable, will enthusiastically "rough it" in the quest for a unique adventure. We have two favorite aspects of travel - meeting/learning about people and trying/enjoying as much food we can physically handle.
We met and married in Atlanta, GA, backpacked for a bit as newlyweds, lived in Mexico City for a few years and are now settled in Philadelphia with our two mini dachshunds, Chicha and Lucho. Marco grew up in Mexico City and Kristin just outside of Philly. We make our living as entrepreneurs and make our life about the experiences we have/create every day. We're big believers that 'the best is yet to come' and this drives us to try new things, take risks and explore in all aspects of our life.
We believe that the best thing in the world is to be exposed to new people, places and things. When you can connect with a local the experience is so much better. We love to share our favorite bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, food spots, markets, etc. that are tucked around the city, plus the must see cultural stops and the best ways to get around the city. Philadelphia is a beautiful place to visit and we love for people to get the most out of their time here.
Travelers who stay with us can expect a clean, comfortable and safe space to come home to and two hosts who will help make your time in Philly special. We work a lot, but are always available for questions and conversation over a strong cup of coffee.
