An amazing stay with elderly people and a baby.
A clean, quiet, charming place, close enough to action but not too close to make it too noisy.
ENEIDA, our chambermaid, was of most exceptional help. She cleaned until spotless, she cooked delicious meals and took care of all our other immediate household needs such as washing clothes for us and sweeping floors, preparing light meals and organizing clothes (for a very reasonably fee), making our vacation stay most enjoyable and relaxing (says a mother who nevet gets a day off).
The house has a great location making it far away enough from the noise of cubans partying on adjoining streets (very appreciated when a baby is sleeping). It is close enough to key stores and restaurants. The beach is very pretty and mesmerizing, but gets DIRTY quickly with all the cubans throwing trash wherever they walk - I had to clean out a big garbage bag of trash EVERY day from our piece of beach in order for my little one to cruise without incident of broken glass or cans (I will consult with the Varadero tourism bureau to rectify the situation ASAP - nothing to do with the house, just local mentality).
The house is fully equipped and is lacking absolutely nothing to make a stay comfortable. It has a great patio and a ranchon with a BBQ. So very easy to put baby and elderly to sleep, close the doors and enjoy a bbq meal under the stars with a good wine.
Alba was a great host, very pleasant and welcoming.
Communication was easy and once again, Eneida provided us with all the comforts of the stay needed.
The only suggestion is that if traveling with small children, watch out for the stairs. Otherwise - a 4 star stay for me and family, would recommend it to anybody and would go back TOMORROW!
