Great location, authentic Irish home (4th generation) right by the sea. Chris is a great cook and there are lots of lovely touches that he does to make the stay even better (choices by the bed, water etc). Excellent location to walk into town. You cant go wrong with this place!

Traditional Irish fishing cottage on the edge of town with an easy walk into the quayside. Lovely restaurants and bars and a gateway to the Sleahead drive.

Geraldine was the perfect host. Friendly but not in your face. The room is clean, warm and the shower hot. There is a place to put everything, often missing in bathrooms and bedrooms. I loved the decanter of water next to the bed and the chocolate. Breakfast over looked the end …

Chris and Geraldine's place was a brilliant one-night stop in Dingle. Contact was great and Chris was a lovely host, making us tea when we arrived. The room is a 5 minute walk to the centre of Dingle. We had the best dinner of our week-long road trip at Fenton's and the best br…

This is listed as a family home. It is a small house and the room is immediately off the family's living area, with TV on and small children playing etc. The room faces the street with no view at all of the harbour.

Response from Geraldine:
This is our family home, stated as such as it is not set up as a b&b. Guests who stay may choose to interact with our family or not, as they choose. This is a strong theme in Airbnb, the ability to experience authentic Irish life, which one doesn't get in b&bs or hotels. We fully appreciate that our home wouldn't be suited to someone whose needs included wanting to 'get away from' family life for a weekend, but this wasn't mentioned in correspondence. Our home can be deceptive as the bulk of the house extends back towards the water. Hence, as in the listing, we make a sittingroom upstairs available to our guests, where they can relax and enjoy the view our home affords.
