Ruth and her boyfriend Jamie were fab hosts - they made a special effort to make sure we were familiar with the area and recommended lots of places to go. The apartment is in the perfect location - you can walk to most major attractions and there are some fantastic dining and drinking options as well as live comedy and music just down the road. Travelling only with hand luggage we were appreciative of the shampoo / towels / hairdryer provided for our stay. Fully recommend Ruth's as a place to stay to anyone interested in visiting Dublin for a short break!

A great location - totally walk-able from Town and the Temple bar area, which was very handy. Ruth and Jamie were very hospitable and knowledgeable about the local area. It was great to talk with them about food and drink recommendations, and to get ideas of nearby activities from themselves as locals. The cafe about 20m from their door is a brilliant recommendation and delicious for breakfast and lunches. The room itself is as specified - fine for a base for a few days. The fluffy towels were a bonus! We felt very welcome there and really enjoyed our trip.

Ruth's place was great. My girlfriend and I stayed there; the room is clean, comfortable and has an en-suite bathroom. Ruth met us for check-in and we had a drink and a chat about where to go and what to see. The area is great, far from tourists and full of great pubs and restaurants. We had a night out with Ruth and her partner, we all got on really well and I think they'd be as willing to hang out or leave you to your own thing as you so wish. Next time we go back to Dublin, we'll definitely be calling them up as friends. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay at Ruth's place. Great location and easy to access via public transport. Plenty of local bars and restaurants around. The room was comfy and had all the necessities. Ruth and Jamie made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful and full of great locals tips. Would stay there again.

Ruth was there with a friendly welcome on arrival. She was very helpful with suggestions on shops and amenities in the area...very much appreciated. The location is great - a short walk into the centre of town. It was a very quiet neighbourhood (which was a good thing!). The room is cozy, nice warm duvet on the bed and connected en suite bathroom. Everything we needed for our short weekend in Dublin.

Ruth was a very welcoming and friendly host. She gave us lots of tips about what to see and do in Dublin. Her flat is well located in a quiet street with shops and cafes just around the corner and a 15 minute walk into the centre. We felt comfortable during our stay and would recommend Ruth's apartment for a trip to Dublin.

Ruth was an excellent host and we couldn't have asked for more. Our accommodation was extremely clean, tidy and well equipped. It was also ideally located for absolutely everything you could wish to do in Dublin, whether it be strolling around the city or admiring all of the 'tourist attractions' on offer. Ruth gave us plenty of information on what we could and where we should go. She also provided us with a scrummy breakfast!! We would highly recommend Ruth for anyone looking to visit Dublin.
