We designed the space as a place to share and welcome OUR friends and family. A special place within our home that allows for both interaction and privacy and allows either party to choose. It's a big house and music can play in one area while a baby naps in another. Evenings after 8pm is quiet time. Common sense reigns as the law of the manor: if it's quiet, keep it quiet. If you take it out, put it away. If you get it dirty, wash it. If you open it, close it. We're a golden rule family - do unto others, etc.. For reasons of allergies and housekeeping we are a pet-free and non-smoking house. Guests are only allowed by prior arrangement.

Very nice place in a great location. Mr Sidell and his kids greeted us at the front door and helped us with our bags. Clean and comfortable. If you have issues climbing stairs this may not be the place for you but they let you know that on the web site. Wonderful safe location near the Zoo. Great neighborhood to walk in the morning with a cup of coffee. Thank you Louis for sharing your home. 1 thing if you drive by car make sure you have the right address. There are 2 addresses in Buffalo with the same address different zip code. When we arrived GPS said we were 14 miles away. My bad but be aware.

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The description was very accurate, Louis was super friendly and it felt homey. I didn't get to see as many architectural delights as I would have liked but it was cool being right down the block from the Darwin Martin house and Buffalo's former transportation center is not to be missed. City hall too. Anyway, I'd recommend you stay here :)

Great host, great space, great neighborhood, great part of town to have as a home base--close to the arts district. Louis's space is so warm and inviting. He thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Louis is so friendly and helpful. His suggestions for places to eat and visit were spot-on. Would stay there again and again!
