What a brilliant Air B and B! Great location, great apartment and an amazing host. This was a proper home - not a dreary beige corporate let - and Gregory was a super helpful and lovely host. We loved the neighbourhood - some excellent local cafes and restaurants and some good tips from Gregory. We walked our socks off and it was lovely to come home to such a comfortable place at the end of the day. The kittens next door were an added bonus!

Gregory was a joy to deal with - very friendly, left personal recommendations in a file for guests - very accommodating. The flat itself is in an ideal location. It's easy to get to by metro, especially from Gare du Nord with Richard Lenoir being on a direct line. The flat itself is very nice. It would be great for a family. With one toilet on the ground floor, those in the basement room have to get used to some tricky but fun steps if they need to go during the night. We really enjoyed staying in Gregory's flat and rather than travelling by metro, we walked to Bastille, République, walked back from Galeries Lafayette past the Louvre, Notre Dame through the Marais Canal St Martin, etc. Great for if you like exploring on foot.

Really impressive apartment in a great area of Paris. Away from all the tourists, but still an easy walk to the river and Notre Dame. Brilliant recommendations from Gregory on where to go and eat. And to finish things off, he also left us a lovely bottle of red wine. Would definitely recommend!

Great pad in a great location. One direct metro from Eurostar/Gare du Nord and minutes walk to several metro lines. The apartment is a great place to explore Paris from. Local store opposite the apartment making eating in and taking full advantage of the kitchen an ease. The apartment is full of charm, character and style. With an open plan layout and tonnes of storage, this is a very large apartment for central Paris! Downstairs bedroom and en suite is especially sleek with its modern design and available features. Gregory was great to communicate with and made the trip very simple and hassle free.

Gregory was very helpful and welcoming - he gave us good directions from the Metro station (and from the Gare du Nord to the Metro) and speaks very good English. The apartment was clean and well furnished, and decorated with flair and personality. The living area is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It's at street level, which is rare for Paris in my experience, and the street was very quiet. The stairs to the basement rooms (bed and bathroom) are compact and "Japanese style" so might not suit older people or those with mobility issues, but the downstairs itself is beautiful, with its arched old-brick ceiling and first-rate bathroom features. The apartment is just outside the Marais itself, but the street is nevertheless full of great little restuarants, bars and cafés. 5 minutes' walk just across the main boulevard you have even more to choose from inside the Marais. You could spend weeks dining out and partying in this very vibrant little quarter of Paris. There's a supermarket straight across the street and three local Metro stations, so it scores big on convenience too.

Timely engagement to receive guests and thoughtful preparation by Gregory ensured that our journey through Paris and first access simple, the reception warm and the apartment very comfortable during the whole stay. The split level with separate bathrooms ensures that all guest have privacy and the apartment was cosy on a very cold Paris weekend. The 'loft' is very well equipped for staying-in and cooking but we were tempted to the excellent restaurants withing easy walking distance each night. A supermarket open late very nearby, and bread-shops a short stretch of the legs from the door mean that provision gathering is a pleasure. This flat is an excellent base to explore Paris by foot, with access to multiple metro lines if one wants to explore further afield. It will be a pleasure to stay again in the future and ideally take advantage of the shared garden space which we neglected on account of the cold weather.

About Gregory

Country Manager in an international company focussing on the Internet Market, i am a very enthousiastic and living person enjoying receiving my friends in cooking for them.
I love Paris and like to rediscover it permanently, its restaurants and bars, its photographs and painting gallery, its small path with its very specific architecture. .
Beside that said, I am currently observing it through the website :
I am now so trying to provide a beautiful Paris experience to travellers through my very atypic loft which i have rejunevated with one thing in mind: How could i make people feeling good in it.
Seems to work pretty well, i will so be pleased to received whenever you would like!
Kind regards
