Great wee cottage and well placed for exploring the area - very busy A64 makes getting out in the morning a nightmare! Lovely friendly staff and right next to the loveliest coffee shop in Vertigrow Plant Nursery

We stayed for two nights, using the cottage as a base for exploring York. The place isn't really in walking distance to a Park n Ride stop (no real pavements on the A64) which meant we had to take a taxi into town if we wanted to have wine with dinner - about £15 one way, so not bad. The cottage itself was compact but cosy, and we were left some delicious scones upon arrival! Everything was tidy and Michael communicated everything we needed to know, so we were able to settle in quite quickly, and there was plenty of room for parking.

It was in a great location, no problems with the parking. The cottage itself was just perfect. Clean and tidy. Very cosy on an evening. It was home from home. A perfect find

Excellent accommodation and facilities, dog friendly, lovely gardens and space. Hot tub is a great bonus! Good location, just outside of York but literally not far to get to shops& town centre. Would definitely recommend and go back.
