Spacious and bright 2 bedroom village house with large sunny peaceful balcony. In the heart of traditional medieval village filled with friendly locals, ancient churches, tall watch tower and cobbled streets. Excellent dining at the famous Trattoria da Maria and Cingale Bianco pizzeria. Great base for exploring the Maremma region with stunning beaches on the Argentario coast, hot springs in Saturnia, wine distillery in Scansano and loads of gorgeous villages and towns all close by. A real gem!

The space

Casa Panoramica is in the beautiful 'fairytale' Tuscan village of Pereta. The characteristic cobbled streets, tall watch tower, ancient churches, exquisite restaurants and friendly locals really make this place... a little piece of paradise. At the bottom of a quaint alleyway, nestled into the ancient exterior walls, characteristic steps lead up to the bright and spacious Casa Panoramica. Large open plan living area with 2 sofas, kitchen, fireplace. Two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. French doors open out onto a large private sunny balcony with table and chairs for alfresco dining, sun loungers to relax in the Tuscan sun and stunning views of the peaceful wooded valley. 1 minute walk to restaurants, bar and pizzeria. Only 25 mins drive to lovely sandy beaches. 40 mins to Saturnia hot springs. Would suit a family with children, couples or a group seeking a relaxing retreat in a traditional Tuscan village close to many places of interest. An unforgettable experience

Guest access

Due to cobbled streets and steps up to the house this property is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Cars are not allowed into the village without a permit which makes it a pleasure to stroll around. However, Cars can be parked on the road approaching the village or in the car park at the side. Both free, totally safe and about a 2 minute stroll through the village to the house.

Other things to note

There are many interesting towns close by well worth a visit such as Pitigliano, Porto santo Stefano, Scansano, Magliano in Toscana, Sorano, Montiano, Montorgiali, Roccalbegna, Grosseto and many more. A little further a field are Siena and Pisa and the elegant cities of Rome and Florence are about 2 hours drive away or 1 hour by train. The Maremma national park is 25 mins drive and Saturnia's Hot Springs 30mins drive. You can take a ferry ride from Porto Santo Stefano to Giglio Island.
