If no craftsmen would have been there a very nice & calm apartment. Luckily Mo told us before, but we didn't have access to the Internet, so we couldn't read....well it was really loud, but nevertheless a nice stay in between the wineyards. The room is big for 2 people, the bathroom & toilet are seperated. Cooking equipment is there, big table, very comfortable apartment & you can directly start having a walk into the wineyards! So - a lovely place for people how loves nature :) (Next big supermarket 10-15 minute drive, but smaller one is in the village, also a bakery and butcher) Mo is living in the house next to the apartment, but on the same ground.

Mo was incredible kind and charming! She offered us a bottle of wine on arrival and it was delicious. Even as advertised as being rustic, I feel the amenities could be a little updated. For the price, wifi should be (URL HIDDEN) did give us the password, which was nice because it was not advertised, but was too spotty to use. The sofa bed was just long enough for me to sleep on (I'm 5'7) but anyone taller would be very uncomfortable. More suitable for a child. Overall, this was a good place to stay as a starting off point to explore Beaujolais. Mo offered us use to the pool, but we were too busy to take advantage. It looked beautiful and refreshing. The scenery surrounding the gite is spectacular. Unfortunately, we stayed here over a Sunday and Monday and most everything in town was closed!-A lesson learned while traveling to this area.

Response from Mo:
So sorry about the coffee machine ! My fault I should have checked - thank you for letting me know on private feedback. If ever you are back in the area please don't hesitate to come back as the whole place will be updated and we will be adding a seperate more comfortable bedroom where the garage is - just let me know you stayed before and I will not charge anymore and will do a special rate if possible.

This was a great place to stay for a quiet long weekend away. Loads of lovely food and wine available locally and an easy drive to and from Lyon. Mo was very helpful and welcoming. Would recommend.

We had a great time in Beaujolais! It was a cute place surrounded by so much beauty. Mo was kind and invited us for a glass of wine, we unfortunately had to pass because sleep was a priority. Very welcoming!

We hat a really nice stay in Maureen's accomodation which is situated in the scenic winegrowing landscape of Beaujolais. Maureen and her husband were really kind and helpful. When we had some issue, Maureen always helped us in no time! The accomdation was clean and as described and we nearly didn't miss anything for our stay. We enjoyed some walking through the wine hills, refreshing in the pool and drinking a glas of wine. It is really a good place to relax, far away from the noise. It was a pleasure to stay here and hopefully we will manage to revisit this relaxing place!
