My girlfriend and I stayed with Kathy and Kevin for a weekend away in the mountains. We cannot understate how lovely a time we had. Our hosts were extremely welcoming, as was their dog (who we quickly fell in love with). The house was secluded with a magnificent view over the valley from the veranda. It was also 5-10 minutes by car from many of the most scenic walking trails in the area. I heartily recommend Kathy and Kevin and am fiercely jealous of anyone staying with them in the future.

Kathy and Kevin were very friendly and I immediatly felt very welcome. Both Kevin and Kathy are former theater actors and sang all day. The view from the living room and terrace were even better than on the pictures. I loved the changeing colours of the mountains over the day, the continuous chattering of the birds and watching the starts at night. They both helped me with planning my daily activities. Kevin lend me his mountainbike so I could visit Luena and Katoomba easilly. After a long walk in Blue mountains park on the first day they invited me for a revitalizing barbeque in the afternoon. On the second day he adviced me to cycle offroad to Blackheath and descend Hat Hill road to an unknown lookout. This daytrip turned out to be an exhausting but very rewarding tour due to the majestics views at Pulpit Roch lookout. When I planned to return to Sydney by train Kevin adviced me to alight at Parramatta station and take the watercab from Parramatta Wharf. The boattrip on Parramatta river into Sydney Harbour was thrilling and gave a nice view on the Mangrove shores and suburbs of Sydney. I would love to come back when I'm around.

This place is a must visit. It's full of life and music. Kathy and Kevin are most wonderful hosts and really make you feel very comfortable. So does their lovely dog Carlos. The scenery from the back of the house is to die for. And you just don't want to leave :) I will recommend to family and friends any time. But one room of two people at a time. Haha I wish I could bring the whole family there!

Amazing family, amazing location, amazing stay :) Kathy and Kevin are very friendly and open people. We enjoyed our stay in their house a lot. Absolutely loved the view. Having breakfast/lunch in a nice day with a stunning Blue Mountains view, what could be better? The house has a cozy rural style that added a charming atmosphere to our stay. I personally do not like staying the same places the second time, but I will definitely consider this one for my next trip. Again, this is an amazing place :) Thank you.

What a warm welcome, picked up from he train station by Kathy, and entered a warm home. Very comfortable bed with quality cotton sheets. Great deco building with an AMAZING view. Take a stroll down Sublime Point rd to a breath taking lookout. There are bush paths that meander in and out of bush land along cliff edges that just transport immediately into nature. Great place to call home away from home.

Our stay with Kathy and Kevin was welcoming, hospitable and they made us feel at home. Their home is very comfortable and the view is unsurpassable . They were the perfect hosts, going out of their way to help us make the most of our stay. Great conversations and advice. Would have loved to talk more if we weren't so exhausted from our expeditions. Kind generous people who we would highly recommend you stay with. Thank you Kathy & Kevin.

Kevin and I have lived in Leura for 5 years and love the mountains. Originally from UK we have lived in Australia for many years, and have both travelled extensively. We love meeting new people and hearing about their adventures. We both enjoy musical theatre and can't imagine life without music. Life is a song!
