A lovely little house in one of the most beautiful places in Sweden! Would recommend!
Jessica's little cottage next to the main house is great - small but has everything you might need (even things like salt and kitchen roll) and is lovingly decorated (even has little lamps in the windows, I very much like that). It has no running water, but the toilet, shower and washing-up facilities are round the corner in the main house's ground-floor cellar. The cottage even has a dining table in front of it but Jessica also offered us to use her great first-floor terrace dining table if it was available.
The location is one of the greatest I've visited in Sweden so far - just one hour by car from central Gothenburg, you take a ferry (free of charge even for cars!) from the main land to Hönö. The island is a stunningly beautiful place, narrow little streets, small harbours and large areas of smooth rock that gently slope into the sea. My friend and me spent the entire evening exploring the area - I still couldn't get enough and got up the next morning at 6 am to see the morning sun over the little lighthouse at Hönö's westernmost corner.
Jessica was a lovely host, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. She even sent a little info sheet before we arrived and there was a folder with information and a very handy map. I hope she could make use of the food we left; we couldn't take everything we had bought with us since we had to take a flight back home ;)
