Flora and Paul were so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house was much bigger than described. Lovely, classic Baltimore brownstone, with great architectural details and charm. The garden outback is a little urban sanctuary. We found this location super convenient to Johns Hopkins University. Would definitely stay again

This was my first AirBNB experience, and it was a wonderful stay. Paul was so gracious and friendly. The house is classically victorian, so if you like the B&B feel, without the community breakfast and other stuff that can feel intrusive sometimes, this is the perfect place. I felt like a got a real feel for Baltimore, which is exactly what I was hoping for. In terms of preparation, do some research on the location; it is about 2 miles from downtown, but only a few blocks from the sweet neighborhood that surrounds Johns Hopkins University. If you don't know that, it can feel a little like an island. But just walk a bit north and you'll find coffee and other good stuff. The buses downtown are okay, but you need to be patient. They will take you right down to the Inner Harbor if you're a tourist like me. Thanks, Paul!
