Our house is located at the center of the historic town Avanos. It is only a few meters far from the Kızılırmak River and also very close to the pottery shops and ateliers. The house was built in the 1940s by a local architect and resided by his family until recently. It is today under protection due to its architectural and historical values. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our lovely vintage house.

The house has 1 bedroom, 1 living room, entrance hall, an old-style jetty (a kind of traditional balcony), kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. There is a huge garden in the backyard with several fruit trees and stray cats (they will be happy if you feed them). You will be able to use all rooms, the garden, and other amenities.

Avanos is one of the must-see places in Cappadocia. The town is famous for its pottery workshops and wine cellars. The old town's history goes back to the Hittite period. Kızılırmak, one of the longest rivers in Turkey, runs through the town and there are several parks, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars by the river. Güray Pottery Museum, Hair Museum, and Turkish night show are must-do in the town.
