This place is a little gem! The area is plain but Paola and her family make this place look so chilled. I really enjoyed the morning by the pool and the late swim after a long day walking in the city. Commuting was easy but you have to be able to walk from the house to the train station 10-15 minutes on a busy road without pavement. I am just saying that if you have small children or difficulty walking up on hill it may be not ideal. There is a bus but it can take a while and it is for only 2 stops. But I found it easy, the train only takes 10 minutes to join the centre. Coming back late at night was not really an option as I was on my own. I did it once and I asked a local lady to drop me off from the station. I had the best room I think with an amazing view so Thank You. Sharing the bathroom and kitchen was ok as I was sharing with a very discreet couple. I had my balcony for privacy so it was perfect for me. Going to the shop was also 10 minutes walk and you can find everything in Carrefour express. But the drinks and food provided by Paola was ideal when I arrived and for very affordable price! Merci!

The only complaint I think could be given is the location, but even still I feel like the location is superb. Even though it takes 30 minutes to get to central Rome, it's beautiful to be outside of the city within the nature, the stars look clear at night, the pool is great, very clean and great communication with the host. Would recommend highly and definitely would stay again. Thank you Paola.

I had a great time staying at Paola's. The room was perfect, very clean and beautifully presented, with the bathroom and kitchen area also spotless. The house is in an ideal location for someone wanting to travel to the city centre although be careful not to miss the last train home like I did! Paola and her husband were so friendly and gave me everything I needed, they even picked me up from the station when I arrived. There was food in a mini-bar when I got there which you can purchase for a small amount- perfect if you arrive late in the evening, and Paola gave me a metro ticket as well so that I could get into Rome and buy a 7day pass. The room is quite private in an apartment accessed by stairs on the outside of the building so I didn't feel bad leaving early and coming back late at night as I didn't wake anyone up. The pool was wonderful as well. Overall everything was great and I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Very pleasant couple. I booked a room however as it was having some work done to it Paola gave my son the small one bed apartment at no extra cost. He was very pleased with his accommodation which was clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and the pool was great to relax in. Only 10 minute walk from the train station and local shop.

was made welcome, even better than I had expected it was amazing to stay at this charming villa. I was greeted and looked after, and it was a lovely oasis set apart from a group training I was doing down the road. the shower was spot on, different settings, and even radio. Woke up, with own private balcony, and could take a breakfast in a cute cabin set by the pool. thanks so much

Thank you Paola for letting us use your fantastic attic and swimming pool! We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend your hospitality. The accommodation was even better than the photos suggested and very convenient for getting to the historic sites of Rome. Regards, peter & Beckah.
