Such a great position. Lovely house, lovely walks, convenient for the airport and Dublin centre yet feels like total countryside/seaside once you're there. Great Kanoodle delivery takeaway and Tesco shop delivered to the door. Walked for great coffees, never needed a car.

The location at Marie's place was simply the best for our tour in Dublin and ticked all the boxes. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable and the kitchen had all the usual amenities one would expect from this type of accommodation. Easy access by bus to the city, lovely local walks along the beach and some superb restaurants both in Clontarf and nearby Howth. Marie was on hand at check in and gave us all the friendly necessary advice for the trip. Many thanks, we would love to stay again on our next visit.

Our first Airbnb experience did not disappoint. This beautiful home on Bull Island overlooking the water on both sides of the house was a perfect retreat for our extended family get together. The home is light and airy with beautiful walks and the little village of Clontarf only across the wooden bridge. Mary was more than helpful and we appreciated her flexibility with times of arrival etc. A fantastic find for a relaxing and very easy stay in such a unique scenic spot. Thank you Mary!

Our family of seven stayed and there was enough room for all of us with creative use of the spaces available. We were made most welcome by Marie. You move into her house with lots of her character and well-stocked kitchen. Good parking. The garden area and view through the arched opening is wonderful. It is tidal which allows for spectacular feeding areas for the wading birds. Take binoculars! Bull Island is popular with walkers, runners, cyclists, beach visitors, golfers etc.. You join a lovely world. There is a very informative public information board nearby which explains all about the building of the North and South Walls - and how Dublin Bay is dredged and the island was formed. (and about Captain Bligh). Back across the bridge there is some good food to be had - Kinara - an excellent, quality, Pakistani restaurant.....and Kanoodle - great take-away, and next door - Fish and Chips (eat in only). The 130 bus is frequent (every ~10mins) and takes you into the heart of Dublin. Driving in isn't difficult and parking (when we did) was available ~€3 per hour in the car-park we used. A recommended destination, we were there in mid-September. One bathroom. Thanks Mary.

We have just returned from having stayed 3nights in the most idyllic cottage on Bull Island. The cottage was big enough for 7 of us and it had everything we needed. It was within few minutes walk to numerous cafes, restaurants, park, promenade and was right on the beach. The bus stop to Dublin center was just over the wooden bridge. We were very fortunate to get lots of sunshine and it felt like we were on a foreign holiday. Mary was very informative and was very relaxed with check in and check out times. Thank you Mary for letting us have a wonderful few days, we really had a great time!

Mary's cottage on Bull Island is absolutely incredible - that's if you can call it a cottage - the house is much larger than it looks on the images, and the view through the rear garden gate is amazing. Local amenities are fantastic too. Mary is a wonderful host and our families and friends young and old had a wonderful time. We will certainly be back and will recommend far and wide. Thanks so much!
