I couldn't recommended the Explorer's Nest more. It's central yet quiet- you turn off from the main, bustling city area and then walk 5 minutes, and you feel like you're in the peaceful, green suburbs. It's also cosy, so calm, so clean, and Arvind, his wife and staff are so friendly and helpful - I really just felt like I was at home. You also totally feel like you're in your own space and privacy, so it's the perfect balance. It's got an amazing rooftop where I had my breakfast every morning and chilled out before going out into the city. Everyone is so lovely at the house, and helpful with transport and maps, and Arvind even let me leave all my stuff in my room when I had to go to Delhi for a night. I couldn't recommend this more. Thank you!!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and are very happy do have done so. From the moment we arrived Arvind and his wife welcomed us very kindly after we'd had a long day. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. It's very nice to get away from the loud streets and relax at the explorers nest, but after a short walk your back in the busy streets of Jaipur armed with Arvind's map and enough knowledge to know where you want to go.

Arvind's place was everything you could want from an Airbnb. Secure home in a great, central location, friendly couple of hosts and all facilities you could need inc wifi. Communication was fantastic from start to finish, Arvind even arranged a pickup from the train station for us. Meals are available (including the best chai tea we have EVER had in India!) and the room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had an incredibly comfy bed. Would definitely stay again!!

This is my third year staying with Arvind, and I look forward to many more. He always welcomes me and my friends into his home with such grace, we now consider him a special friend. Vishnu who helps at the guest house make the best omelettes and masala chai! Also the Tali is special - my friend Tom said it was the best he had tried! I can't wait for next year ;)

Im a retired Army Officer. I like travelling, trekking, cooking, yoga and collecting antiques.
I served in the army for 20 years then left it to start my own venture which would allow me flexibility of timings and where i could meet people from all over the world. So I set up my BnB setup. Now not only do I meet people from all over the world but make friends with them and even at times travel with them. Its such a rewarding experience.
