Hi! We're delighted that you're planning to visit Edinburgh. We've travelled a lot in our lives and in truth, Edinburgh is possibly the only place we've found where we feel we have been able to put down roots. Apart from the fact that it's just a beautiful city, with fascinating historical buildings, open green spaces and a vibrant culture of history, arts and music, it's also a city which never has a quiet season - there's always something going on! Andrew grew up between Crieff and Cairo, and is now happily settled in Edinburgh, keeping busy with his short term letting consultancy and finding investment properties for private clients. Susan comes from Inverness. In her previous life, Susan was a lawyer for y-e-a-r-s and now is a clinical hypnotherapist, broadcaster and author. Her first book was published last year and, if she ever gets 'round to meeting her deadlines, she'll publish another two in 2017. We have two beautiful grown up sons, both living in Edinburgh, who are also creative types - one a budding actor and playwright, the other just about to start his fifth novel. As a family, we love to go to the theatre, we love live music and we love to eat! Edinburgh is therefore just perfect for us all. Of course, we love it when August comes around as the festival and the fringe is, for us, our annual treat. Of course, for our guests, we'd say that the tattoo is unmissable as it's such a spectacle, but there are, for us, other shows which we make sure we never miss year after year. At other times of the year, there are hidden gems around Edinburgh. Just drop us a line. We love to chat before you arrive, should you wish to plan your trip in advance. If you need us, we're at the end of the 'phone, but we are careful not to be intrusive. So have fun, be happy, life's too short to be anything else!
