Description

It's available for rent on our small ecological/permaculture farm. It sleeps 2-4 comfortably, making it ideal for couples or small families.

The yurt has a wood burner, double bed and two single futons. It also has off-grid lighting for night time

This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping' We don't have a fancy toilet block, a new kitchen for you to use, nor even a toilet right by the yurt... It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in.

The Yurt is 100 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely!

But we do have...
Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore
- A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in)
- Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from)
- A stream for you to paddle in
- Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes)
- Eggs that you can collect yourself
- Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains
- Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden (when available, we had a baby in April so we are a bit behind on growing this year)
- The beach is less than two miles away
- A compost toilet with amazing views
- A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc.
- A shower, flush toilet (soon) and washing machine in the farmyard.

Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.

You have the run of the whole farm, though we do ask you to stay away from the cows and the bee hives.

We love people to come and get involved with what we are up to, and we love to offer our ideas about what to do etc and we really appreciate your ideas too.. Equally if you want your own space, its yours

We are in a brilliant spot, only two miles from the beach and only a fifteen min drive from the foot of Mt Snowdon.

We are very close to the main sustrans cycle route and not far from the wales coastal path. If you want picking up from these or from public transport, give us a call.

We have lots of seasonal activities that you can get involved in, hay making, veg harvest, lambing etc .. sometimes however we have a young family and are busy and we may have less time to spend on the farm with you (though we will try)

House Rules
Check in is anytime after 4PM

We love the farm and we want you to love it too, but is our home and that of all its animals and plants and we ask you to respect all animals and plants..

You can collect your own firewood, but please only collect dead wood.

The yurt was clean, beautiful and well-equipped for basic cooking. Fresh water on site, great views of the ocean, and we even got eggs, lamb and sausages from the farm to cook - the ultimate treat!! Matt and Jenny were super friendly and helpful, wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time at the farm, the yurt was in the most spectacular setting with the better views than we could have imagined! Matt and Jenny were brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome - we even got to feed some lambs which was definitely my girlfriend's highlight! Really recommend this place to anyone after a beautiful escape!

We had a really good weekend at Matt's yurt! The yurt ist situated in a beautiful landscape, it feels a little bit like Hobbiton or Hagrids hut. Matt made us very welcome! It was little bit freezing in November, with the oven inside it was quite cozy though. We'll definitely come back in summer one day!

Fantastic Place to stay to get away from it all and enjoy a bit of peace and quite. SO much in the area to do. We had sheep around the yurt and were woken by them talking to one another which was lovely. All the essentials are provided and once the fire is going there nothing better than relaxing and having a glass of wine. Highly recommend if you want a wild getaway with comfort.

My partner and I had a great time in Matt's beautiful yurt. The yurt itself was very clean and cosy, and despite visiting at the end of October was warm with the wood burner and extra blankets provided. The location of the farm is amazing, with great surround scenery - both mountains and sea! Living here for a few days was great fun, there are fields, woods and a lake which was exciting to explore. Although being very remote and private, there was easy use of showers and toilets if necessary and Matt was very approachable for any information about local attractions or questions about the farm (the Campers Barn was also great for this). Collecting the chicken eggs in the morning was a nice touch and were delicious for breakfast! We look forward to returning to the farm and hopefully seeing your continued progress. Thank you very much

Amazing Yurt with stunning views. I loved all the 'green features' and the farm's location is just perfect. Both Jenny and Matt were incredibly warm and friendly, and they made us feel right at home. Much look forward to returning !
