We left after a few hours - there is a massive mold issue in the apartment. When we arrived candles were burning and windows were open. After going out for a few hours the smell on our return was so bad some of my friends became ill so we left and found a hotel. There also was no shower curtain, an open box of cereal in the kitchen and a loud dehumidifier in the bathroom.

Our family of five loved our week here. A three-story townhouse apartment located on a busy narrow street, full of life and activity, a short walk to the riverfront. Small grocery stores, cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, and the Dom Luis bridge offers an easy walk across the Douro to Porto. No parking (don’t bring a car to Porto; not enough space on the narrow steep streets). Nearby bus stop connection to the transit system. The apartment is clean and modern. The beds are clean with crisp linen. Edna provided plenty of fluffy new towels. Shower works very well. Three separate bedrooms with doors, and a dining room with table for 6, so plenty of space for our family. The small kitchen is suited for snacks rather than banquets. The location is great for exploring Porto on foot. It’s also next to the port wine warehouse district, so we enjoyed their tasting rooms too. Edna was easily contacted when we had an emergency during check-out (I locked my backpack into the apartment!), and she managed to get me and my backpack to join my family at the train station. Thanks Edna!

Great house with lots of space, we were 6 friends visiting Porto for the first time. The house provided us with a good space to relax, play a few card games and share some Douro Valley Wine before heading out to enjoy Porto life! The location was great as it was right next to the Port cellars and the Ponte Luis Bridge, which means it is fairly quick and easy to walk to the other side with all the restaurants fairly easily. We really enjoyed ourselves in Porto. The only things I would make people aware of, which is clearly advertised, is there is only one bathroom and there isn't a separate toilet, so with a large group there could be a potential queue; additionally, the house is quite large and we visited in March so was a little cold, but there are no shortage of portable heaters around the house, so no problem getting warm within minutes. There is plenty of linen, towels and all other household and kitchen items, so its easy to make yourself at home. Edna and her husband are very quick to respond and extremely helpful, therefore any minor issues were sorted very quickly. Overall, I highly recommend this house as a base to explore Porto. I would love to visit it in the summer.

The location is amazing to go to the Porto wine cellars. We were 6 for a quick weekend city break and there was plenty of room for everyone and great location. About 10 minute walk from a metro stop which made it even more convenient.

Edna was contactable our entire stay. Her place was a great launch pad to see all of Porto.

The apartment is very nice and very well kept, beds are comfortable and the location amazing, 1 minute walking to the river. I would suggest this apartment to anyone visiting Porto. Edna was exceptional kind and offered us to keep our bags half day after our check-out. If we will come back to Porto, will be at Edna's place.
