This charming Studio Flat is accessed via an external spiral staircase, leading to a balcony entrance. Situated in beautiful gardens, woodland and within walking distance (1 mile) of the historic town of Battle. Free off road parking.

The space
The Studio is non smoking and accommodates 2 adults, no children or pets allowed.
It is tastefully furnished, open planned and carpeted throughout the bedroom and lounge areas. All areas are centrally heated including the shower room.

Open plan lounge and dining area
Lounge area contains a sofa with sofa stool, low level shelving unit with a 22”television that has WiFi, Sky TV and integral DVD player.
The Dining area has a good size dining table with 4 chairs and a dresser for crockery and a variety of books for book swapping.

A fully-equipped kitchen area includes electric oven with grill and gas hob, microwave oven, a good size fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle. A substantial amount of cooking pans, utensils and crockery are available, tea towels included. An ironing board and iron are also included and laundry facilities are available on request.

Spacious double bedroom provides: King-sized double bed, bed side cupboards, lamps and radio alarm clock/CD player. Double wardrobe, chest of 6 draws/ dressing table and single wardrobe with full length mirror and lamp. All bed linen is provided.

Shower room
Wash basin, toilet and walk-in shower with heated towel rail radiator. Wall cupboards with shelves and mirrors. Shower mats and Towels provided.

There are many diverse attractions, places to visit and activities in the 1066 country and outlying areas. Battle: where the most significant event in 1066 changed the course of English history. The Abbey and Battleground, Battle Museum of Local History and Farmers Market. Hasting: with its unique old town, fishing fleet, fresh fish markets and events. Rye: famous for its literary links, cobbled streets, history of smuggling and great variety of shops, art galleries and weekly markets. Camber Sands: famous for its dunes and wide open sandy beaches. Winchelsea: first town commission by King Edward I. Bexhill-on-Sea: first home of Motor racing with its architecturally significant De La Warr Pavilion art gallery and theater. Bodiam and Hurstomonceux Castles and Bateman’s House home of Rudyard Kipling.

Golf Clubs, restaurants, public houses, walking, horse-riding and fishing are situated in and around many of the surrounding villages.
